Great weekend to all of you out there that are following this…… My breakfast this morning was a scrambler, a glass of juice, and my coffie. I had to work today only till 1:00, today we only work a half day. For my A.M. snack I had a RECOVERY DRINK!!!!!! My lunch was a steak wrap with spinach, carrot, and low fat dressing. My workout today was very challenging for me. I really need to get my core work down. When you listen to your program he will tell you that there are certain angles you need to be at. The closer you are following it, the closer you will be to mastering these excercises. I feel so good in my middle body section after doing this workout. I feel as if my body this past month has now gotten firmer, my body is running on all 8 cylinders!!!. I’m getting these moves down and I am climbing the mountain of my 90 DAYS. Some highlights to tonights workout are as follows. My streching out to get to full lenght in motion in all these reps is a must, I have been keeping great track on myself performance as I go through these. I am bring it. Drinking my water and breathing and all aorund havinf fun. This was a fantastic idea for me to get into the P90X I feel some much more full of energy. I am dieting properly by following my nutrition guide, I eat my snacks on time to allow my body to get what it needs before my workouts. You don’t want to run on anything less than 8 cylinders for P90X. For me I’m heading out with my family, to a friends house for hot dogs over an open bonfire, a few cold ones. Hi>>>>> For my breakfast this morning I ate a cheese scrambler and a glass of milk. Enjoyed my coffie on the way to work, its been getting cold out there in the morning ride in for me. Ill manage though its not to bad yet. My morning snack was my P90X protein bar which was great!!!!!. Lunch I had a healthy choice meal chicken, rice, veggies, and a salad. Eating good in my own words these meals taste great I like them, there also alot better than fast food places. Come on folks the dollar menu just is not cutting it. If you want the results you best follow the nutrition guide as best as you can, its done great things for me I feel great knowing that I am eating healthy. My afternoon snack was low fat cheese slices. My day at work was alright , not as busy as I would have liked it to be. I did finish strong though and got out of there on time. Dinner was a steak, potato, green beans, and a large glass of milk. Before my Yoga X tonight the family and I went for a walk with the dog. When I got back I slipped a spoon full of RECOVERY DRINK into tonight’s water. I started yoga tonight with my wife,shes now joining for the P90X program which is GREAT. The workout for me tonight was very full of energy,I was doing pushups as the option they give you during the change ups in forms. I’m still not very flexable when it comes to the streching parts but I do use my YOGA BLOCKS as needed and for those who are like me. It is perfectly fine to use them when and as needed. Just remember if your just starting out do what you can, as the weeks go on just as they say fight for every little millimeter you will start to feel how much you have improved over the weeks and your body starts to change form. For me I am giving it my all and tonight I was moving and grooving!!!!! this by far was my best yoga x workout yet. Im in week 4 so almost done with 1 month of this, I feel wonderful and as I look back to my blog and see all those numbers go into the red I have also accomplished my goals. I have not given up I stay and BRING IT BRING AND BRING IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good night…..
I had a scrambler for breakfast with a glass of OJ. These scramblers are a great treat to have every few days. They really give you the energy you need in the morning. For my AM snack I had a recovery drink, it really hit the spot considering how hot it was in the shop. Lunch was turkey salad. It was HUGE!!!! Could barely finish it, it was damn good though. I made more than my fair share of hours at work today….all on one car. Didn’t feel drained at all from last night’s workout. I remember last week I had felt sore and tired. For dinner we tried the broccoli and beef stir fry from the nutrition guide. My kids even ate it and they’re pretty picky about chinese food, no matter what kind it is. Today’s workout was shoulders, arms, and abs. I used my bands again during the exercises. I tried adding an extra 2-5 reps from last weeks exercises. I just wanted to try to BRING IT a little better. The wide flys are hard as hell. You have to switch from lifting front and sideways. Very very hard! I’ve been sleeping better this last week. I haven’t been waking up with as much back pain as I used to. I think it has something to do with improved posture and diet. I have a lot more energy too. My wife has noticed a few changes too <wink wink> Stamina is right up there. Going into the Ab Ripper I really felt like I got into the zone. As I was doing Heels to the Heavens I felt my form improving.
