Hello my day at work was great did lots today as far as making some good hours. My snacks today were a Recovery drink for my morning, and cashews for the afternoon snack. My dinner tonight was my wife and I went to Ruby Tuesdays I ordered the chicken Frescia with mashed potatoes, brocilli, I had a large glass of Sam Adams for my dinner. Its friday so I figured I would grab a beer. Afterwards we went to our friends house, we had a relaxing night. We hung around for a bit then we needed tohead back to our house cause the kids were at the babysitters. I was nice though to have a night with just my wife and I. After we got home we got the kids of to bed, buckled things down and I started my yoga. It was late so doing yoga kind of stunk. I really don’t care for yoga but on the other hand I know I am suppose to do it,cause in the long run it will help my body become more flexible. Also the amount of endurance you get from it. I have to say even within the first 30 minutes of yoga it is very tough. Once you have reached the half way mark, its just stretching from there and the hard part of the workout is over. I plan on playing one of my video games tonight so for me it is already a late night and its not over yet. Welcome to the weekend and enjoy Thanks……

Hello I had a very long day at work I had made over 12 hours by the time I left today. Today was a money maker for me. I also had gotten to work late cause I over sleeped, on my way out the door I had grabed a P90X protein bar cause I had no time to make breakfast or grab my coffee. My dinner tonight was green beans out of my garden scalops potatoes and Hadock Fish it was a goodmeal. My workout was good I kept up my numbers, I had aslo been able to do the extra for masion twist it had been the first time since starting since I could do the bonus of the 10 extra tonight, I like the ab ripper X cause when I complete the excercises and moves I can realy feel it in my lower mid section. I also got on our excercise bike before hand to do 30 minutes of that so I had already burnt through some calories before I even got into the X of things tonight. Thanks and lets get ready to roll through this weekend coming up….
Hello folks I am going to be using today as my off day. Ihave a concert to go to at 6 and by the time I get homw it is going to be late so no workout for me tonight. Be back tomarrow thanks Tom
Hello there.. Yet another rainy day, it started out ok…. but then it rained from before lunch then all day what a crock.. I had a real nice lunch chicken wrap. Snacks were P90X protein bar for AM and PM was carrot sticks and hummus!! Excellent snacks also. Dinner was an itialian meatloaf with greens and a piece of whole wheat bread with a spread of butter. Just to put out there that I can follow the nutrition guide part also. Ill post up meals ans snacks every couple of days other than that its in the nutrition guide. For those of you who are daily followers, you can just go back a few posts/ blogs to check in on what to eat as far a healthy nutrition is. Tonight for plyo right from the start I put 1 scoop of Recovery drink into a large glass of water. I had it gone in about 15 minutes I know I should probably have taken my time with it and not drank so much right from the get go. It was funny though I almost ran out of gas before I even really got into it. After that set in it gave me what i needed to do to get it done and start working hard on tonights workout. I kept up tonight I did modify some of my moves cause I just couldnt get up that high when jumping my legs were trembling from time to time tonight depending on the moves. I also skipped the pitch and catch. I did however complete the catch it shoot it and my MONSTER truck living room tires. To bad you cant fit monster truck tires in your living room ust to see about actual distance. Or there should be some sort of P90X training course outside of our home that would be cool have a few monster truck tires set up to get actual feeling on whats it like the gap jumps would be great also due to that fact that you would have to make the jump of fall into the water. Imagine a creek through your living room or behind your house. Even if you did fall in during plyometerics it could be refreshing, but then your feet would be wet and make it uncomfortable to finish up plyo with wet shoes LOL. Its bad enough my socks are wet when I finish up the first thing I do is take of my shoes and socks to allow my feet to breath…. Ok then have a good one
Hello the start of a new week . My week one was very very tough even for me. I pretty much went through the week very sore cause I have been out for some time now , so getting back into it is real nice for me. Tonights workout was real good. Since I keep track of my numbers and write it all down, I have raised my numbers up in alot of my exercises by 3 to 5 reps from last week which I think is great I know how many I did cause I have been writing it all down. Also with my new powerblock weights ranging from 5 to 50 lbs . I used 30 lbs for my back flys, and used 50 for my lawn owers and trust me with all that weight I could blast out 10 good ones!!!!! I like to keep things in a foward motion pace for me , so I can raise my weights and do less reps. I am still on my black bands with my door attachment and I also am using my push up bars to help me with all my push ups .With a new week brings new results and sore body, for me just about another week or so till all the soreness will go away and my body will be immune to it all and from there I can really get things done….. Great morning to you all My breakfast this morning was whole wheat pancakes with 2 spoon fulls of surup. A glass of milk and coffee black. My A.M. snack was a recovery drink. My morning was good I had 1 car come in with no brake pedal pedal went to the floor it needs a new master cylinder, also the brake fluid was contaminated with debris, so it my also need additional work due to sweeling of the seals it could already be in the brake lines and the cailpers. My lunch was corn, steak, and a salad with thousand island fat free dressing. I had water to drink with my lunch. My P.M. snack was 6 crackers with a cheese stick. I had more water throughout the day at work also. This afternoon I got a couple of oil changes tires rotations, a mount and balance all 4 snow tires. At work today i also started my diesel training course. I have 4 out of the 8 post tests complete before i take my final exam!!!!! After worktoday my family came to my work to pick me up so we could go to the mall for dinner and christmas shopping. We went to Ruby Tuesdays. For dinner I had turkey mini’s with the salad bar green leafs, spinach, carrots, green peppers, lite ranch, croutons,and graded cheese. I had a sam adams to drink with my dinner. Tonight I changed my workout I am doing legs and back tonight instead of yoga X I am saving yoga for tomarrow due to it being a friday night and I would rather spend my hour and a half workout for tomarrow when have more time. Tonight’s workout for me was a relief to get my legs moving again for my workout night in plyometrics, usually the day after I do my plyometrics I can feel my legs in the way I walk. Like I have more energy in them. All my chin ups and pull ups tonight were done using my black band. When I get to the bottom of my rep I was holding for that extra tension really bringing out the squeeze. I have been getting out 15 total for most of these reps during the pull/chin ups. Which is a very good number for me, during the past month when I started out I was on the green band, then next month I switched to the blue band, now that I am used to the excercises and I want more size, I have switched to the black band for max performance. Onto the lunges ,Tipeetoe lunges and my chair lunges were done with wonderful form, I really went down in deep to feel it and during the lunges I added 10 lbs weights!!!!!!!! I am bringing it here cause this is my last day for strenght training beacause from here I will not need weights for my recovery week. So this was the finalizer in bands and weights. All in all throughtout this program I have increased my numbers and went for size by using the 25 lbs dumbbells and every month switching up to a heavier band. So thats how I did, I can say for myself that I am in much better fitness than I have ever been in. My breakfast this morning was garnola with a glass of milk and a smallcup of a protein shake I had made for my wife this morning. Last night the tooth fairy came to visit my daughter se lost a tooth last night. This morning she was excited she got a 2 dollar bill for the missing tooth. My A.M. snack was a recovery drink. I worked on a dodge neon today. It needs collant hoses, heater core hoses, collant flush, radiator the transmission cooler lines went in the radiator so all of the collant mixed with the transmission fluid what a mess. Also repalced the trans solonoid pack and trans cooler lines, dropped the trans pan changed the filter, and did a flush to the transmission. The car also got all new coolant, I had to flush out that about 3 tmes with water till the trans fluid was no longer present in the coolant. The res bottle also needed to be taken out of the car and cleaned properly cause the trans fluid got into that also. My afternoon snack was carrot sticks, no hummus today I don’t have any at home so just the carrots and a glass of water. Tonight is open house at the kids school so we are going to that after dinner tonight. That will be nice to see the kids classrooms and see the work they have been doing so far this year. My dinner tonight was celery sticks ans 1 1/2 slices of pizza cheese only, and tomato slice with fat free ranch dressing. A glass of water to drink with dinner. On to px90. Yoga X was good I am streching much better. My body is not so out of shape anymore so I can move alot more than before. Yoga helps me get the results I need to make change. If your just hanging around during yoga or not there you need to feel it and get in gear It will help the hour and a half go by much quicker. Once your warmed up things move much easier for your yoga excercises thats about it thanks everyone.
