Jen: I am out for today everyone. I just got back from the doctors not too long ago. I have cut my eye…..as in my actual eyeball! Don’t ask me how. Let’s just say I am none for being a klutz. It was really weird how they looked for it too. They had to insert these strips into my eye and it dyed the cut orange. I guess it was pretty big according to them. Guess that’s why my vision is all fuzzy and my eye hurts like hell huh? So anywho, I am taking a “sick day” from the workouts. On another note though: Since we are about half way through the program I started thinking about where to go from here. Do I just do a round 2? Do I move up to P90X Plus? Well, with my limited vision I decided to take a look at the books included and checked out the different workouts (there are 3 choices in the style of workout you do). There is Classic, Doubles, and Lean. After checking things over and thinking about what my life will be like here in a few weeks (holidays, work, etc) I have decided that once I am done with this program I will be following the Lean program of P90X. All the same workouts are included at some time or another, just varied a little for a different look. A leaner more feminine look if you will. So with all that being said, I am going to go rest my eyes. If there are any typos please excuse them. I’m lucky i managed to squek out this much so coherently. Good night!
Tom: Hi everyone happy monday to you all I had oatmeal for breakfast with a glass of mlik and a coffie. My A.M snack was a P90X protein bar. My lunch was a apple suace cup, two slices of pizza with evrything on it and some water. My P.M snack was 6 whole wheat crackers and low fat cheese to make my sandwich cracker snacks!!!. My day at work was not worth mentioning cause it sucked horribly so I’m not going to even waste my time telling you about it cause it sucks and thats all you need to know about that. My excercise onw the other hand was fantastic. Warm up went smmoth until the arm circles then my arms feel like jello wigglers…. I did excellent today let me tell you all about it. I did the bonus for 3 in 1 slow motion pushups. Plange pushups I added 3 more for last week. My scarecrows I topped off added 3 more to those. I did 2 extra 1 handed pushups. 4 more Y press at 25 lbs. Lying tricep extensions4 more at 25lbs. 4 more side to side pushups . 2 more pours at 10 lbs. 10 lbs for the pours is plenty any more weight and its not worth it as far a form goes your arms will just fall out and they need to be held out straight. Side leaning tricep extensions at 25lbs at 10 each was 2 more than last weeks. I modifyed the next set of 1 handed pushups to my knees but did 10, 2 more than last weeks. Weighted arm circles, AGAIN arms are getting jellooeeeeee at 10 lbs + I took a small break for this excercise. I blew out 8 more clap pushups than last weeks that is a max rep excercise I not getting off the groung with my feet, but I,m launching up into my clap. Front to back tricep extensions were holding strong at 25 lbs adding 2 more from last week. 5 more 1 handed balanced pushups really pushing up my midsection on the hold with the arm raised nice and tall. Dumbbell cross body blows a nice whopping 30 times each at 25 lbs. last weeks was only 25 total. so there you have it folks I;m blowing out the walls here and getting it done XXXXXXXXXXX style.!!!!!!!******!!!!!!!!!!!!! All these extras are based out of last weeks so cause I am wrting it down I know my improvements and weight reps. Im focused and ready to climb to the top of the X. Abripper was good I had no more energy to do anymore weighted excercises so it was nice to change into the Ab ripper. My legs don’t seem to want to get straight during the heels. My knees still have a bend to them. I feel my ab’s ripping after about 3 to 4 minutes into ab ripper. Its making me feel like I am working hard when in the 15 minutes you are doing this you can start to feel it just minutes into the excercise. I have been doing nicely. V rollups for me are gettin gto be real easy for my my form is great during this compared to my first month.

Jen: Today I had to help my cousin move. So before I decided to go there I got up early and did Kenpo X. Next to plyometrics I think this is the other hardest workout. Constant movement, dripping sweat, and breathing heavy. It was definately A LOT of hard work. It was fun at the same time though. Not your normal type of workout. You’re doing punches, kicks, and blocks. I yell occasionally too. It is a great workout to pop in even if you are stressed out. I can see myself having a rough day and popping this into the DVD just because it is fun and a good way to release some stress. I think it is now my favorite out of all the other routines, which is strange to say since it totally kicked my butt! So after I damn near killed myself I deicded to head to the “Big Move”. Let me just say this was NOT easy! She has 3 kids under the age of 8 and a lot of stuff. Her husband was working and we all know where my husband is. So this was lovely. It was just her and I and 4 children hauling stuff back and forth between the new and old house. Once we grabbed everything we could from the old house we had to stay at the new house and wait for the utility guys to show up. While we were waiting for them we decided to paint one of the bedrooms. Let me just say…..no matter how many baby gates you put up or what precautions you take a 1 and 2 year old will always find a way to get at paint if they really want to. Once I had my fair share of that mess I headed home. I had gotten a call from Tommy and apparently the salmon run had been rained out (think it had anything to do with my voodoo?). That was a nice suprise, but I was in a foul mood. I had banged up my hand during the moving, I was tired as hell, and starting to feel sick on top of it all. BLAH! So we chilled for a bit and talked about the fishing trip. Afterwards I decided to join him for his workout of Legs and Back. Since I took Friday as my off day I skipped this routine. It was killer since we were both already extremely tired. I switched up to a heavier band this time around. I’m on orange now. I can really feel the difference. I make sure to hold it for a few seconds and the end of each move so I am really isolating those muscles. I have a problem with balancing on my left leg I notcied during some of the other moves. Something I’ll have to work on more I guess. My favorite move during this routine is the Groucho Walk. Anything that can bring humor into it is great. You have your legs wide apart and squatted. Then you walk 4 steps forward and back. Really hilarious! For Ab Ripper I wasn’t into it. By now I was most definately wiped out and tired of it all. I wonder if I am doing some of the moves right because I feel it more in my lower back than anywhere else (like the first 3 exercises). I can’t do the side oblique crunch to save my life. I don’t know why but I just can’t seem to coordinate myself enough to lift everything at once in one fluid motion. I am really confused on that one. So that is it for the day. I am off to the showers and LOTS of sleep. I have earned it!
Tom: Tom Legs and Back Ab ripper X Hello I am back for my fishing. Nice to be home and be back to my family. Legs and back for me today was a blast. I am using the Blue Bands now in my door for all my pullups. During my lunges I am also using 25 lbs bar bells, these past weeks I am upping the weights and doing less reps. I am going to get ripped!!!! My legs fell great from doing these lunges and squats. I got airborn during the excersise when you squat down and back up to jump and get up off the ground I got up in the air to a small jump I try to give a little extra when I know I have it in me to give. Stepping up to the heavier bands and weights with p90x has really made my arms fell much stronger. Ab ripper was nice to since it was a few days since I have done Ab ripper due to my fishing trip. I took my breaks a few times to catch up with my breathing. Aloowing me to get a good form in and do them properly. Post back if you the followers see a difference please let me know and be honest let me know how I am doing and let me know If you guys and girls see me BRING IT. P90X Day 15
Hey folks starting off day 15 for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woke up this A.M and had a Mushroom, tomato, cheese (lowfat) scrambler and a glass of skim milk. I was rushing around this morning. I usually make some of my snacks and meals for the next day that night, that way I’m not fighting the clock at home and not speeding to try and get to work on time. A 5 star mechanic is always on time 7:59 sharp for me !!!!!!!!! is better than 8′ oclock . My day was super. I put in 10 hr’s before lunch break even hit. Also, mid way through I chilled in my bay and had my Recovery Drink !!!!!!! Lunch time I had a chef salad with 2 spoon fulls of fat-free thousand island dressing. Wife came in just after that. The power streeing line let go in the van in her daily travel’s. WTF if it isn’t 1 thing it’s the other ((OO__OO)) Figures. LOL! O well that’s how the cookie crumbles and that’s the bottom line. She’s a 99 with 77,000 what more do you want from her. Other than minor repairs its been a good family vehicle. Around 3ish was my snack 30 pieces of pistachio nuts, even though I like the tatse of the shell. Sometimes unless you have a toothpick handly I don’t recommend you chew on them for to long for maxium flavor. They will get stuck in your teeth. I Stayed late today to finish that up cause it was now my ride home. Only took about 25 minutes or so + fluid top off . You don’t want to run your power steering dry. It will make all sort of noises and possibly ruin the pump. Onto dinner___ came home to a great meal. Chicken, wild rice, and asperagus. It ruled the roost! Also a glass of milk to wash it all down. After all the dishes were done my wife and I read books to the kids. Only for about 20 minutes or so cause it’s a school night and I still need to Bring-IT. Chest and Back was great way to start off the night, I have been writing all my reps down for these past weeks now and on more than 10 excercises I have completed 3 to 5 more reps each. I can feel the burn now everyone. I’m trying to get maxium performance out of my work out. Everytime I thought I was done I would take a breather and knock out 3 to 5 more. Just remember it’s alot easier when you are breathing to do all of these push ups and pullups. This PX90 program is all about breathing and giving it your all. Ab ripper ripped up my ab’s tonight. I could feel the burn in my lower regoin’s of my body, mostly in the legs during bicycles. Finished up another day taking 1 more notch out of my 90 day’s. Keep following me all of you.
