Dear readers,
As the admin of 90dayreview.com I have seen the ups and downs of this blog. When this site was launched over 2 years ago the goal was to give people an honest daily review of the P90X. Brian didn’t just want people to see his daily progress but he also wrote in a way that let you into his life. The P90X is a difficult program and the struggles of life can make it all the more strenuous. By writing about how the P90X is a part of life, you the reader can begin to build a picture of how it might be when you start the program yourself.
When Brian concluded his workout and thus stopped blogging the site became inactive. After months had passed I found another person to take his spot. Unfortunately having not ensured this person could pass the pre-fit-test he was forced to stop after only a few days and the blog sat dormant once again.
During the summer of 2008 a very good friend and I were talking about working out and eating healthy. For as long as I’ve known him he’s been an active guy, I didn’t really think he’d want to workout after getting home seeing how he’s moving around all day as a mechanic. Tom has a great personality and he sticks with what he starts. I remember thinking to myself he’d be the perfect person to write for 90dayreview. I casually asked him if he’d like to try the P90X and blog about it. To my surprise he said yes. Through a partnership with ExtremeBodyWorkout we were able to get him all the gear and supplements he needed to complete the program. Tom wrote about his work, family, eating habits, the P90X… he let us into his life. He posted daily pictures and with a little help from some friends we were able to make some killer p90x videos. Tom went on to do 2 more rounds of the P90X but by the end of the second round comments began to trickle off and his following began to slowly disappear. I know for myself I like “new” and variety so I can only imagine that’s what you want too. I found somebody who wants to get into shape. Starting next Monday Erin will be doing the P90X. She’ll be writing every day and posting weekly pics. I’m going to try to rally my friends so we can do some videos. She’ll be posting an about me post over the weekend so look for that.
I want to make this site better than it already is and this is where I need your help. 90dayreview is a blog which typically follows one featured reviewer but I’ve been thinking about making it about everybody. Should I continue to have one featured reviewer every 90 days or should I alter the site to handle a few people at one time? I was thinking of running a contest every 90 days to determine the next reviewer. The winner would receive a P90X package which would include the program, gear and nutritional supplements to get the job done. What do you think? At the height of this blog the comments and questions were endless, do you think I should add a forum to this site? Comments could still be left for each individual post but questions could be asked in the forum. It might be easier to find answers to your questions. I really want this site to be the most beneficial for you. So please feel free to leave a comment with your suggestions.

Hello today I had to P90X Double up earlier on in the week I needed to take a day extra off so this puts me to Sunday with 2 workouts still left to do. I also had a birthday party to go to today also. I had a few beers today I had also gotten a lot to eat as far as food oes today cause of the party. Doing both workouts allowed for lots of excercise today. I had some chicken from the grill, a baked potato, cloe slaw, small bag of popcorn, a piece of cake, and I also ate some of the kids chicken cause with chicken that good I didn’t want it to go to waste. I had done my first workout before we had gone to the party, my second of the da I waited untill aftr dinner. It actually wasn’t that bad that I ae alot today cause I needed it to help me get through 2 wokout’s today from the P90X classic program. I enjoyed kenpo a bit more today just cause my first workout went well but I was pressed for time, I had to cut ab ripper short a couple of minutes I was really blasting out what I could today and I was glad that I was able to catch up for the week.
Hi all I got up this morning ate some breakfast and went right to work on Yoga. It was a long morning but I figured I would get it over and done with. I actually felt a bit sleepy at first but after about 30 minutes or so I snapped out of it and finished up for the day. It’s good to be done with it early in the day cause I have lots to do, having done and completed my yoga for the day, it’s safe to say I can now go and have some even more better fun…….My yoga improves as I am inproving on my P90X 90 day journey also it is really giving my body what I need to improve about becoming more flexible
Hi all back on track tonight just had to take a day to get back into things. Today was a good day for my Back and biceps, I held up tonight as far as getting i my workout and keeping up with my numbers/ One major pat of tonights workout was my willingness to make every rep count, the cleaner the better after a few weeks of doing the P90X you should know that you can do your best as far as keeping every move tight and clean. You will get much better results as the weeks go on so don’t just give 50% go all out and give it a big P90X 110% . My back and biceps feel great tonight I am really feeling good about tonights workout. I also completed Ab ripper X with great detail tonight as I once again did the extra. Its really helping me along to getting a nice formed ab section.
Hi all I have no time tonight other than to blog I pulled a 7:30-7:45 My wife and kids were in a fender bender today also, So I didn’t even eat dinner until 8:30 tonight, I had to meet up with them all after work, they are all OK. nothing major, but My wife just didn’t feel like cooking tonight cause its been just one of those days.Tonight is not a good night from me I am not going to count this night, I am going to pick up back up tomorrow
Hi everybody I still have that feeling in my mid section from yestardays P90X workout. I must have really blow it away. My plyo tonight was good. I can ven make it durng hot feet. My legs and knees took it hard as cause you are staying/hoping from only 1 foot at a time during hot feet. My calfs and legs are getting the best possible use. All these moves for plyo will really all come together for most people just remember, all you can do is try it out and don’t quit. Motifying is great if thats what you like to do there are some out there who will have to motify, but thats fine do what you can, also anyting is better than ZERO, doing nothing all night isn’t going to get you much one the other hand get up and do some plyo, justlike they say in the program if you get exhausted then hit the pause button, take a breather and get back in…. Plyometrics is a total all around body classic workout. Don’t forget your recovery drink folks your going to nee it. I have my recovery drink after every plyo. Hello after my rest day it was nice to have my p90X tonight. I am keeping my reps to excercise’s the same using my weights properly so I can get full max use out of them and keep things going good so there is no sloppyness. Ab ripper X was very good. I am getting better at my moves, also I did more mason twist’s tonight, I kept going even after it was over my sides really felt great after I was done.
