
P90X Day 55
Hi everyone welcome to the weekend how are you all? Hopefully making it happen with P90X!!!! My breakfast today was whole wheat english muffin plain with coffie black. I had to work this morning from 8:00 to 1:00, that stunk all I did was Oil changes and a few tire rotations. I did however grab a A.M snack while I was at work a P90X protein bar!!! When I came home from work I had a Chicken, rice, vegatable lean cuisean with a glass of milk. Legs and back went well for me. I used my blue bands again for all my pullups. The blue band is nice I like the results the band gives when you are in your hold position. Its the rite amount of weight for my class. During the chalf raises I was using my 25 lbs dumbbells by the last toe in reps the bottom half of my legs were on fire. To top it all off my DVD skipped back to the beginning what a bummer, likely I now what to do and how it finishes so when I finished I went over to find my spot again damn thing….. One legged wall squats wer eno fun eather I took a few breaks in between them. Those leave your legs shakee also. I had a very nice going workout, I did very well on my forms. Abripper X I always take breaks during Fiffer scissors my legs just can’t hold that position, one of these days I’m going to get it though without taking breaks. I have mentioned during past blogs about beeing worn out during the workout before it even goes into abripperx. Just keep inmind breaking can be very well needed when you work hard don’t be down about it . Break clear mind and go 4 it!!!!! have a nice day….

P90X Day 34

P90X Day 34
Jen: Today I had to help my cousin move. So before I decided to go there I got up early and did Kenpo X. Next to plyometrics I think this is the other hardest workout. Constant movement, dripping sweat, and breathing heavy. It was definately A LOT of hard work. It was fun at the same time though. Not your normal type of workout. You’re doing punches, kicks, and blocks. I yell occasionally too. It is a great workout to pop in even if you are stressed out. I can see myself having a rough day and popping this into the DVD just because it is fun and a good way to release some stress. I think it is now my favorite out of all the other routines, which is strange to say since it totally kicked my butt! So after I damn near killed myself I deicded to head to the “Big Move”. Let me just say this was NOT easy! She has 3 kids under the age of 8 and a lot of stuff. Her husband was working and we all know where my husband is. So this was lovely. It was just her and I and 4 children hauling stuff back and forth between the new and old house. Once we grabbed everything we could from the old house we had to stay at the new house and wait for the utility guys to show up. While we were waiting for them we decided to paint one of the bedrooms. Let me just say…..no matter how many baby gates you put up or what precautions you take a 1 and 2 year old will always find a way to get at paint if they really want to. Once I had my fair share of that mess I headed home. I had gotten a call from Tommy and apparently the salmon run had been rained out (think it had anything to do with my voodoo?). That was a nice suprise, but I was in a foul mood. I had banged up my hand during the moving, I was tired as hell, and starting to feel sick on top of it all. BLAH! So we chilled for a bit and talked about the fishing trip. Afterwards I decided to join him for his workout of Legs and Back. Since I took Friday as my off day I skipped this routine. It was killer since we were both already extremely tired. I switched up to a heavier band this time around. I’m on orange now. I can really feel the difference. I make sure to hold it for a few seconds and the end of each move so I am really isolating those muscles. I have a problem with balancing on my left leg I notcied during some of the other moves. Something I’ll have to work on more I guess. My favorite move during this routine is the Groucho Walk. Anything that can bring humor into it is great. You have your legs wide apart and squatted. Then you walk 4 steps forward and back. Really hilarious! For Ab Ripper I wasn’t into it. By now I was most definately wiped out and tired of it all. I wonder if I am doing some of the moves right because I feel it more in my lower back than anywhere else (like the first 3 exercises). I can’t do the side oblique crunch to save my life. I don’t know why but I just can’t seem to coordinate myself enough to lift everything at once in one fluid motion. I am really confused on that one. So that is it for the day. I am off to the showers and LOTS of sleep. I have earned it!
Tom: Tom Legs and Back Ab ripper X Hello I am back for my fishing. Nice to be home and be back to my family. Legs and back for me today was a blast. I am using the Blue Bands now in my door for all my pullups. During my lunges I am also using 25 lbs bar bells, these past weeks I am upping the weights and doing less reps. I am going to get ripped!!!! My legs fell great from doing these lunges and squats. I got airborn during the excersise when you squat down and back up to jump and get up off the ground I got up in the air to a small jump I try to give a little extra when I know I have it in me to give. Stepping up to the heavier bands and weights with p90x has really made my arms fell much stronger. Ab ripper was nice to since it was a few days since I have done Ab ripper due to my fishing trip. I took my breaks a few times to catch up with my breathing. Aloowing me to get a good form in and do them properly. Post back if you the followers see a difference please let me know and be honest let me know how I am doing and let me know If you guys and girls see me BRING IT. P90X Day 12
Hey its Friday the 5th. I had a tomato and spinach scrambler for breakfast with a glass of milk. My day went by very quickly at work. I had a bunch of brake work to do on multiple vehicles, so the morning was very fast paced. Slammed down a Recovery drink for my morning snack. Finished up a few more cars and then took lunch break. My wife joined me for lunch. It was nice to have lunch with her now that the kids are in school. We have a chance to spend a bit more time together alone so thats nice for us. I ate a turkey burger for lunch and some salad. Shortly there after eating lunch my wife and I went to Stewarts for an ice cream, I had a waffle cone mint cookie crumble it was real good . I haven’t had a ice cream in weeks so it was nice to have one and after all it’s friday. Went back to work after that had my snack which was 4 pieces of low fat cheese and finished the day strong working all the way through till 5. Came home had turkey helper for dinner with mixed vegtables it was a good meal. After dinner waited about an hour and started my workout. The one legged squats are very hard for me to do. I struggled with them today. I worked on getting my lunges as clean as I could. Also did a few extra pullups from the previous week with my bands I’m using. With this just about ending week 2 for me I figured I’d Bring It!!!!!! I know this cause I’ve been writing it all down which is very important so you can keep track of your own progress. During my Heels to the Heavens and my Scissors my stomach just felt like it was ready to collapse, for lack of better words. Just killed me today!. But other than that I have most of it down pretty well. So I will see you guys tomorrow for Kenpo X and the end of week 2!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOO!
