Week 9 Video again for anyone who missed it!
Hello happy sunday everyone today i had eggs with tomato, spinach leafs, mushrooms, grated cheese, ham, and a coffee black. My morning went as follows I helped out with some housr chores, My son and I read a few books, played with his new hot wheels action set up, and we both played the Wii boxing and bowling ( that was to warm myslef up for throwing my punches for my workout today. My A.M. snack was a recovery drink, which came a the right time cause just cleaning your house is a pretty hard job dusting, vaccuming, cleaning counters, etc. So the P90X recovery drink came in handy today. For lunch I had Chicken, brocclli, noddles, tomato, peppers. I had a glass of milk to drink with lunch. After lunch I walked/ ran my golden retriever EMMA she needs to be walked / ran on a daily. She’s a golden she needs exercise, If I had it my way she would be doing the P90X program, but walking/ running her and throwing her her tennis ball will do just fine so she gets the exercise she needs as well. Today my good friend jerry came up to my house to blow apart Kenpo X with me. We both used weights today for all punches, blocks. He had velcrow hand wraps attached to his hands, I used 3 lbs weights for all my excercises. Today we both did great and we were bringing it to the max capacity. I did great with my punches, kicks, and blocks today. As I have said before it’s always great to have a workout buddy to work with you. Jerry and I did very well on kenpo today, adding the weights really was the topper for the day. When you add weights you up the ante. Today being my last kenpo of the P90X I had to bring out what I was made of and thats pure excellence. Remeber Just blow out the walls and bring it to the max!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jerry and I have done kenpo together before so It was a great way to get in a nice workout and just have some fun with my good friend!!! P90X every1 get it you will see for yourselves this program is great. My dinner tonight was turkey, squash, asperigus, and a sam adams winter lager. Curotesy of my wife she went to the store to get some stuff for tonights dinner and I asked her to pick me up some beverages…ice cold beverages, Well folks this is it for me//////I now go onto my recovery week So for me 6 days left till I round out my (90) days so for all of you out there from me Tom I brought it and I will finish 6 more till I will be a graduate!!!!!! P90X !!!! YEA BABY!!!!!
Tom: My breakfast this morning was Fiber One raisin bran clusters with a glass of orange juice and a coffee black. This morning so of my family members and I all played WOW together on the computer we all teamed up and went to a dungeon raid. That was fun and it was a very nice time. My A.M snack was a recovery drink. My lunch was whole wheat noddles with graded low fat chedder cheese. I had a glass of water to go with my lunch today. My afternoon snack was a P90X protein bar. Today for kempo X My good buddy jerry joined me and my wife also joined in to do the kempo X workout today so it was a fun time keeping in shape with family and friends. All in all it was real good I did very well for my kempo today. I kept clean form and preformed to the best of my ability. Kempo is a great fitness excercise, body in motion and moving means calories burning. I had a great time tonight working out. My licks are really improving I’m getting my kicks pretty high with good form. My blocking and punching also is doing great. This is the end of my week 11 and I will see you all for week 12 Thanks I hope you all enjoyed my latest video. It a great video I highly recommend you all watch it.
Hello this morings breakfast was a protein shake I had ice, milk, berries, banana, protein powder, and a coffee black. My A.M snack was a recovery drink. For lunch today I had a salad chicken wrap, with grapes, a glass of cranberry/grape juice. My P.M. snack was a P90X protein bar, I ate it pretty late today wasn’t paying any attention to the time. My dinner was Vegatable soup with whole wheat crackers, and a slice of whole wheat bread with butter smart balance. My drink with dinner tonight was a glass of water. Kempo X was a nice way to finish off the week. My body was feeling up for the workout. Durning my blocking and punching I used my wife’s 3 lb mini dumbbells WOOO what a difference. This is not just blocking now or just throwing your own punch. This way of modifying it really puts it out there. By the end of this workout my arms were toasty, plus my core cause when you are in your stance you use your body to keep a clean form when blocking and punching,but it felt great. Durning all these months of working out I have been trying out different ways to find whats good for me with P90X. Also what is comfortable you want to get whats the best for you and your body to do as much as you can. This was a huge change for me tonight but I figured why not right? If I can throw puches and blocks (why not add just a tiny bit of weight to put behind it). Alright its time for me to go. I’m heading out to watch a show on T.V with my wife. After that if I’m not sleepy I may go play WOW for awhile Well see later everyone.
Jen: Today was our son’s 5th birthday party. It was his first party not at the house (kind of a family rule, gotta wait until 5 to do it at a special place). He got to invite a lot of friends. We took them all to the local bowling alley. It was great!!! The people were very attentive and well prepared. The kids all had a lot of fun, even the adults LOL. Our son made out like a bandit with Star Wars ships, figurines, and lightsabers. I guess the force was with all of us today!!!<—–I know, that was lame but I couldn’t resist. After the party we came back home and some of our close friends came along. The kids played…..Star Wars of course. The rest of us hung out and enjoyed some child-free time (after a few hours at the bowling alley with 11 screaming kids, you need it). So once everyone finally went home we ate some dinner and relaxed with the kids watching some tube. Then it was time for our P90X workout. We did some Kenpo X.I must say it was different doing kenpo later at night. Especially after the day we had it was really tiring. I wasn’t as into it this time. Not so enthusiastic. I made it through the workout though. So now it is off to the showers and hitting the books. Man, this homework/work, mommy stuff is tiring. But again……..TOTALLY LOVE IT!!!!
Tom: Hello Today I had a Turkey bacon, egg, and cheese on whole wheat toast for my breakfast. My A.M. snack was a P90X protein bar. Today is my son’s birthday party at the bowling alley. It was great everyone had a great time, nice people, good bowling, good food, good company, and good service . As far as my son goes he had a blast and he loves all his new star wars vehicles and action figures plus all the other presenets he recieved for the party. I did sneek a piece of cake and some pizza slices while we were having the party. That was OK for me cause I don’t pig out when I was eating these foods. After the party a few of our friends and my son’s friends came back over to the house to play. We all had a great day and we all had fun. Tonights workout was Kempo X it was a long day but I got through my workout. I added in some recovery drink into my water during this cause I had a draining day. Had a lot to do you know. Kempo x is a great calorie burner you really move around a break a sweat!!!! I needed it after drinking a few Octoberfest’s Today was a great day for my family and I We all had a blast and I enjoyed everything we did. Sunday we are going Mining for Diamonds at a mine so that should be real fun!!!!!!!!!I’ll let you know how we did.
Jen: What a beautiful fall day. I wish you guys could see the weather here. It is in the 50’s and sunny. Nice breeze going. It is gorgeous. That is why we decided to do our workout early this morning. Want to get outside and enjoy this great weather. I am feeling better from last night. I immediately crashed after my shower. I am still feeling a bit crummy but nothing like last night. We ate a great breakfast: eggs, whole wheat toast, and some turkey bacon. After that we hung out a bit around the house to let our meal settle. Then it was on with the show!!! Kenpo X!!!! I like this workout and tend to get a little goofy when doing it. I like sparring with Tommy and pretending I’m a big buff girl. He can take a whoopin pretty good though. Ian (our son) even joined us for a little while throughout the routine. He did some stretching, a few punch routines, and a couple of the block series. Don’t know if it looked too pretty, but he was having fun. So if my 4 year old can do this you can too. I feel a little silly doing some of the blocks or other combos. Especially combos! I get all confused and start doing my own. But at least I’m still moving. This is such a fun workout. I can’t say enough good about it. I am unbelievably tired during and afterwards, but in such a good way. So I guess we are going to shower and eat some lunch. Then it is off for some adventure outside. Maybe bring the dog along????
Tom: Morning everyone I woke up this morning at 8:00. I did not go to bed last night till around 4, I was playing WOW working on my skills It was fun. My breakfast was a glass of orange juice, scrambled eggs, toast, turkey bacon, and a coffie. We tinkered around this morning straightening up the house. After that I started my P90X workout Kempo X. It’s real nice on the weekend’s to workout before the afternoon comes into play cause I like having time to do things with my family and not have to workout late at night. It gives me time to just chill out and enjoy my weekend. Kempo today was cool my son joined in for a few minutes here and there, he has got some nice punches and kicks!!!!!! For me I did great on all my moves, my side kicks are not very high or tight this morning cause my legs are feeling worked from last nights workout of legs and back. My blocks are getting tighter on all my reps, my punches pack a punch. My form is good and all around improving my body structure. From is alot you need to keep great form during these as I noted during my kicks though my body does a bit of wandering. My X jacks I blowing them apart doing extra and doing them real good seeing my body jump even more than normal cuase during the week you cant say that you do much at all as far as jumping off the ground . A regular person during the week probably doesn’t do much of anything like this . So I am very pleased to say I’m up of my couch and getting in shape . You can’t ask for anything more than that. Stay comitted to this program and do your best. You will see results trust me and you body will also feel a nice change!!!! Enjoy your weekend everyone ……. See you tomarrow for Back Biceps and Abs cause this week my Wednesday was my off day so Sunday will be my pick up day.

Tom: Hi I was in the woods doing kempo X. I’m in Pulaski fishing for salmon. I am standing in rushing water from the stream thats real fast current, don’t slip or you are going down. Water in your waiders is not fun at all escpcially when your out there for hours at a time fishing for your truly THE KING SALMON!!!!!!!! This morning I caught 1 fish (a salmon) It was atleast over 20 lbs I’m sure. I had to drag the fish over 2 miles over hills, streams, stepps, rocks, corn fields, well needless to say it was a far drag. I was very a hugh drag that ferlt like a workout in its own. I also had a few drinks while I’m out here having a good time. I gave myself about 45 minutes to recover before I started my workout. I brought it to you al from my camp site while I was on my vaction. I did my best it was actually kind of cool to workout outside. It was a bit slippery cause of the drizzle from the rain but I did fall or anything. My friend even joined in with me to get a nice feel for what the workout can do for you. I enjoyed doing kempoX in the woods. As far as my form was sorry if my form was top notch but as I said I had been tipping back pretty much all morning. Cause when I fish I like to caught a nice buzz. It takes of the edge of knowing that your out there for hours standing in fast folloing water . Also when the line gets caught up on the bottom, and the line snaps or breaks off. Time to start over again and tye one on and cast out again. so its not like you are sitting down. Your up on your legs digging them in very hard so you don;t fall or loose your grip to the bottom of the rocks. So a force is applyed at all times. This again is also a workout of its own. When you see the next weekly recap video it will show all sorts of clips and scenens on how the workout went out side and all the fishing !!!!!!!!
