Day 87…..sorry im late!

Day 87 was yesterday, but we had a huge blizzard and I didn’t go to work.  I usually do my post on my lunch break at work.  Sorry!!!!  So the workout was Kenpo X.  Kicked butt as usual! Although I didn’t eat so great.  I had chicken tenders, which were breaded, and I had some french fries too.  Not at all a part of the diet, but it was a weird day in general!

Winding down!  It’s almost over!

I also had a late night practice on day 86.  It was totally worth it to drive in the blizzard because we are showing our routine on Saturday, but I of course, hurt my self AGAIN!!!!!!  Tumbling on a non-spring floor is NOT for me!!!  I landed funny, actually right on my knuckles, and they all cracked violently!  I couldn’t open and close my hand for about a day!  They feel better now, I can type so that’s a good sign!



Core synergistics……day 86

Can I just “86″ core synergistics?!  LOL!!  Sorry, that was corny!  It wasn’t so bad!  I guess the fact that some of these workouts are still hard at this point proves that P90X is a really intense program!  Of course I hate all forms of push-ups and boat to banana is no walk in the park.  I do like, however, the fact that some of the exercises are cardio in nature.  Like the X press, and lunge-put-it-on-the-shelf thing……I can’t remember the name!

Tomorrow:  Kenpo X

Oh yeah, I do have extra practices tonight and thursday night.  Extra cardio!



THE LAST WEEK! EXCITED, BUT SCARED!!

I cannot believe this is week 13!  Holy crap!!!  I am happy with my P90X results so far.  I have lost about 15 pounds and hopefully inches all over!!  I won’t measure that until day 90, along with my body fat percentage.

Anyway, today’s workout was Yoga X.  I was a little more into it than I was last week.  I think because I was actually awake!  I was concentrating on my breathing and really holding all the moves.

I guess I feel like I could have pushed myself a little harder  through out these last few months.  If I knew then what I know now, I would have!!!  You don’t know P90X is really going do for you until you do it.  Know what I mean?  So I’ll keep it short today and sign off now.

Tomorrow:  Core Synergistics…..NOOOOOO!!!!!  Gotta do it, gotta push it!!!  This is my last week!!!!



3T Practice today

Hey guys!

Today is a rest day, but as you all know, I have all stars practice on Sundays.  I coach my little mini cheerleaders in the afternoon, then go back for my practice at night.  And what a night it was!!  We are going to “show” our routine on Saturday at competition.  We need to take the mat at least once before we go to Nationals don’t you think?!?  We did simplify things a bit because of the type of mat we will be showing on.  It’s a non-spring mat, which means it’s like a big thick padded blue rug.  We usually practice and compete on a spring floor.  The same as the floors the gymnasts to their floor routines on.  So, for safety and time purposes, we made our routine a little more simple.  We got a whole lot done and we have two more practices before we show.  I can’t wait for Saturday!  My little mini’s are going to compete and they are getting better and better every practice!



Day 83….kenpo, pics, and weigh in.

Hello!  Today was not so great.  I might be too hard on myself, but my pictures don’t look as good as last weeks, and I am still 141 pounds.  I seem to be stuck!  I feel like my weight is really touchy and if I eat a cookie, I will gain a pound and I visibly look fatter.  That might sound crazy, but that’s the way I feel.  I was at my sisters house friday night.  I didn’t drink any alcohol, but I did have a couple cups of coffee with a couple of bite sized brownies.  I ate dinner as normal and I did my workout.  Can a couple of sweets really make a difference?????  I will just have to swear them off completely!  I don’t like to feel like I am NOT making any progress.  Anyway, here are the not so great pictures for week 12:

Tomorrow is a practice day.  Looking forward to that.

OH YEAH!!!  I almost forgot!!!  Kenpo X!!  This was the workout for the day!  No problems!!  I still kick butt!!  Jab, cross, hook, uppercut!!!  POW!



82 days into the P90X…..who wouldda thunk it!

NOT I!!

Day 82 was legs & back, and of course, ab ripper x-cellent.  Love this workout.  I have some power in my legs!!  I was flying through the exercises.  Not rushing, but really pushing myself.  OH, and I totally did about 4 chin-ups with no chair!!  OOOOWWWW!  Craziness!  I tired out quickly on those and had to go back to the chair, but 4 is an accomplishment for me!

Ab Ripper is always a pleasure.  I don’t have trouble doing any of the exercises at all.  I can’t even believe it really.  In the beginning, I couldn’t do the crunchy frogs, the oblique side thingys, or the mason twists.  Now it’s easy as pie!  I’m sorry if it sounds like I’m bragging, but I want everyone to know that this program is super hard in the beginning, but if you stick with it and keep trying, you can master it!!  Still haven’t mastered Plyo, so I’m not a complete P90X pro yet!!!  Maybe after a second round and if my knee heals up.

Tomorrow:  Kenpo X!!!  Putting the gloves, belly band and the sauna suit on for extra sweat action!!



P90X Day 81

Hello!  I did Yoga X today.  Nobody bothered me so that was nice.  This DVD kinda makes me want to take a Yoga class.  I like Yoga X, but a different routine would be nice.  I have two more sessions left!  I can ‘t believe this is almost over!  I felt like this program would never end when I first started!!  Oh how the time flies!  Anyway, there isn’t anything new and exciting to post about Yoga X so I’ll keep it short.

Ate a healthy dinner last night, and so far so good today.  Oatmeal for breakfast, cheese for a snack, soup for lunch, and an orange and yogurt for a second snack.  Not sure what’s on the menu for dinner.  Oh wait….just confirmed it.  Sirloin steak it is!  I have some broccoli I can steam up and brown rice.  Healthy and yummy!

Tomorrow:  LAST DAY OF LEGS AND BACK…………AND AB RIPPER X!!!!  IM SAD :(

 



80 down…….only 10 to go!

Hello!!  It’s day 80 and I did B&B and ARX.  I think I went through this workout a little too quickly!  I was doing speed reps!!  I did also skip one of the ab exercises.  The cross leg sit ups.  The just take way too long to do!!!  At this point, I just want the 90 days to be over so I can make a new schedule or do something else!   My posts might also be getting shorter and shorter.  I think I have each workout down by now and there isn’t really much to report at this point.

At the end of my 90 days, I will definitely do another video.  I was supposed to do one every week, but I would have just been saying the same thing over and over again.  Boring.  I will be taking all my measurements and I will do the fitness test again to see where I stand with that.

OH!!!  I forgot!  I can actually do a chin-up without a chair!!!!!  I can do 2 MAYBE 3.  That’s an achievement!!!  I couldn’t even do a half of a chin-up when I started!  Small steps!

My diet was on track until I went to the diner last night!  I wanted a huge cheese burger sooo bad!  So I treated myself!  I eat pretty well every day and I think having a treat once in a while is OK, don’t you?  It was YUMMY!
