Tom: Hey all just a few more days left till day 90!!!!!!! I was running late this morning, I got out the day just on time though. My breakfast was on the run coffe black, I put some Clusters, raisens, oats cereal into a sandwich baggie and ate in my car on the way into work. I drove in on empty cause I had no time to stop for gas, esp at stewarts. Thats the only gas station that I can stop in at from my home to work travel. Everyone knows how that can go in the morning with all the people who go to that store in the morning, nevermind the people who need coffee and lotto tickets, and all the people who have left there cars/trucks/suvs at the pump while they sit in there an BS. I just need some gas but I made the right choice to not stop in there. I made it to work anyway I didn’t run out at work I did inspection’s all day I did a 16 spark plug hemi tune-up thats rigth 16 spark plugs, undercoating /rustproofing, running boards chorme tube application, oil changes, tire rotations. I also got 1 more test done for my diesel training course. My A.M. snack was a recovery drink. My P.M.snack was carrot sticks, cheese string. For dinner tonight I had spagetti, with ground turkey in sauce onion, tomato, mushroom, in the sauce also I had 2 glasses of milk. After dinner we all played star wars action figures galatic heroes with vehicle support attack units. When that was done I read to the kids a book before bead time. Tonight was stretch X for me, I my point of view its like doing a small amount of yoga almost alot of the moves from yoga X are in this workout. Its a really good way to work on flexibility. The cat position were you face your wrists backwards was a bit intense for me cause my wrsits doing really move that way so I did not rock very hard at all during that cause I could feel a bit of a tweak. I did however make my back feel wonderful after boat that stretch is great. My legs feel good tonight after working on my ham strings. Again my legs will not really bend to a perfect perfect straightness but trust me I can feel it plenty on my muscles when I apply those legs move excercises. Arm circles is probably the most intense for me, I did them well with no break at all, note to all here so listen up just keep breathing when the burns comes to your arms esp in the shoulder area, if you are not felling these you must not be doing them right or something like that. I learned to just keep up a good strong breath during my arms circles. My neck rolls I reaaly love the neck rolls during the rolls you can feel all sorts of stuff cruching back and forth for me it feels great. On a more personal note just about every 5 minutes or so during this workout I kept farting alot, Im not trying to be grose or discusting, but when you are doing these postures and moves you twist up and turn and moving around, so for me anyhow I blow out some steam if you know what I mean. Thats great cause after your ready to work more. Now that you have released you let out the garbage to keep a clean head to keep going, to stay focused on the workout. Cause you need this to do your best and stick with it to give it all you have. I like doing the cat stretch if you time your intake breath with the motion of your form you can really feel a difference its like you are breathing even more so than a usuall its a great feeling. Listen and follow these excercises the best you can.You will really start to get in better shape and be able to move easier. This is a great workout. Everyone who is doing or is thinking about doing P90X. This may note seem as extreme as the other workouts but you will really benifit from it, so get off your couch and stretch. Just think about it, really think how many nights do you sit on your butt and do nothing for hours except get out of shape. P90X will do more for you than you can all imagine get out here and join in the fun of getting in shape and getting your excercise!!!!!

As you all know this is my final week Recovery week!!!!!!!!! I have come, I have and I will conquer.!!!!! My breakfast this morning was raisin bran clusters Lightly sweetened wheet & bran flakes with plump raisins and clusters!!! I also had my coffee black and a glass orange juice. I had a few cars this morning Oil changes and tires mostly. Lots of customers have been coming in for oil /lube jobs and tires as of this past coming weeks. My A.M. snack was a recovery drink. My lunch today was a lean cuisen steak, pepper, tomato, cheese on the bread that it comes with. I had some grapes and a glass of water to go with all of that. This afternoon I undercoated and rustproofed a vehicle with a state inspection, this afternoon we slowed right down again so that sucked cause for about the last 2 hours of work there was nothing to do once again. Tonight for dinner I had mac and cheese with ham and brocilli and a glass of milk. After dinner my wife and I started calling all of our friends and people who are close to us and family to all get together for my wife’s and my birthday double party. Thats right my birthday is tuesday and my wifes on sunday of this week. So we are having our once a year double birthday bash. Last years party we had a quad party. It was me my wife and 2 more of our friends for a total annilation birthday blow out the walls party and forget about the rest. If you are not here to party then step aside. Well with all that being said tonight was Yoga X night. I remained focused during my warriors really putting my arms at a real nice distanct from me allowing my body to strecth out to the full max. I have also made my arms no longer flair out at all during chateranges up into cobra, I do get my knees up off the ground aswell… Might aswell right bring it. I would however like for my legs to be a lot more flexible but during a few of my excercises tonight I just can’t seem to really // really get my legs to go straight. On the other hand, I do fight it little by little to try and get that extra distance. The yoga block also helps me during the moves due to my legs not being able to flex my hand all the way to the ground , so the yoga block is my friend during my yoga. It also feels real nice on your hand rather than the ground, you do get that extra comfort in it also. When you are doing yoga the whole point is to be comfortable so these yoga blocks sure do make a diference. They are well worth it!!! Yoga has helped me along my way with controlling my body and motions with flexibility. I know i said it back awhile ago about yoga being so long but now I can get the hang off it and, I don’t mind working my yoga P90X skills cause it has helped me master this course. The P90X Challenge!!!!!
Week 9 Video again for anyone who missed it!
Hello happy sunday everyone today i had eggs with tomato, spinach leafs, mushrooms, grated cheese, ham, and a coffee black. My morning went as follows I helped out with some housr chores, My son and I read a few books, played with his new hot wheels action set up, and we both played the Wii boxing and bowling ( that was to warm myslef up for throwing my punches for my workout today. My A.M. snack was a recovery drink, which came a the right time cause just cleaning your house is a pretty hard job dusting, vaccuming, cleaning counters, etc. So the P90X recovery drink came in handy today. For lunch I had Chicken, brocclli, noddles, tomato, peppers. I had a glass of milk to drink with lunch. After lunch I walked/ ran my golden retriever EMMA she needs to be walked / ran on a daily. She’s a golden she needs exercise, If I had it my way she would be doing the P90X program, but walking/ running her and throwing her her tennis ball will do just fine so she gets the exercise she needs as well. Today my good friend jerry came up to my house to blow apart Kenpo X with me. We both used weights today for all punches, blocks. He had velcrow hand wraps attached to his hands, I used 3 lbs weights for all my excercises. Today we both did great and we were bringing it to the max capacity. I did great with my punches, kicks, and blocks today. As I have said before it’s always great to have a workout buddy to work with you. Jerry and I did very well on kenpo today, adding the weights really was the topper for the day. When you add weights you up the ante. Today being my last kenpo of the P90X I had to bring out what I was made of and thats pure excellence. Remeber Just blow out the walls and bring it to the max!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jerry and I have done kenpo together before so It was a great way to get in a nice workout and just have some fun with my good friend!!! P90X every1 get it you will see for yourselves this program is great. My dinner tonight was turkey, squash, asperigus, and a sam adams winter lager. Curotesy of my wife she went to the store to get some stuff for tonights dinner and I asked her to pick me up some beverages…ice cold beverages, Well folks this is it for me//////I now go onto my recovery week So for me 6 days left till I round out my (90) days so for all of you out there from me Tom I brought it and I will finish 6 more till I will be a graduate!!!!!! P90X !!!! YEA BABY!!!!!
Great morning to you all My breakfast this morning was whole wheat pancakes with 2 spoon fulls of surup. A glass of milk and coffee black. My A.M. snack was a recovery drink. My morning was good I had 1 car come in with no brake pedal pedal went to the floor it needs a new master cylinder, also the brake fluid was contaminated with debris, so it my also need additional work due to sweeling of the seals it could already be in the brake lines and the cailpers. My lunch was corn, steak, and a salad with thousand island fat free dressing. I had water to drink with my lunch. My P.M. snack was 6 crackers with a cheese stick. I had more water throughout the day at work also. This afternoon I got a couple of oil changes tires rotations, a mount and balance all 4 snow tires. At work today i also started my diesel training course. I have 4 out of the 8 post tests complete before i take my final exam!!!!! After worktoday my family came to my work to pick me up so we could go to the mall for dinner and christmas shopping. We went to Ruby Tuesdays. For dinner I had turkey mini’s with the salad bar green leafs, spinach, carrots, green peppers, lite ranch, croutons,and graded cheese. I had a sam adams to drink with my dinner. Tonight I changed my workout I am doing legs and back tonight instead of yoga X I am saving yoga for tomarrow due to it being a friday night and I would rather spend my hour and a half workout for tomarrow when have more time. Tonight’s workout for me was a relief to get my legs moving again for my workout night in plyometrics, usually the day after I do my plyometrics I can feel my legs in the way I walk. Like I have more energy in them. All my chin ups and pull ups tonight were done using my black band. When I get to the bottom of my rep I was holding for that extra tension really bringing out the squeeze. I have been getting out 15 total for most of these reps during the pull/chin ups. Which is a very good number for me, during the past month when I started out I was on the green band, then next month I switched to the blue band, now that I am used to the excercises and I want more size, I have switched to the black band for max performance. Onto the lunges ,Tipeetoe lunges and my chair lunges were done with wonderful form, I really went down in deep to feel it and during the lunges I added 10 lbs weights!!!!!!!! I am bringing it here cause this is my last day for strenght training beacause from here I will not need weights for my recovery week. So this was the finalizer in bands and weights. All in all throughtout this program I have increased my numbers and went for size by using the 25 lbs dumbbells and every month switching up to a heavier band. So thats how I did, I can say for myself that I am in much better fitness than I have ever been in.
