Triple Treat is the name of my all star gym by the way. I don’t think I mentioned that before. So I had a great practice on my P90X “rest” day! lol! First, my coach introduced to us this nifty little trick that we will be doing in our routine. We were all like….ummmm…..we can’t do that!!! Then after trying a couple of times, I think we all had it. I was surprised I could do it! I’ll explain: it was a high kick, then you grab that foot in the air, then fall straight down into a complete split! Didn’t think I could do it, but I did! I also, and this is really exciting, did my standing tuck on the floor!!!! I had minimal spottage……a person standing next to me in case I crashed, and he only touched my back slightly. I do need to keep working on my form, but I can’t believe I actually have tumbling in a routine!!! Usually, my coach will give me something and I wont get it good enough so they will take me out of the tumbling at the end. NOT THIS TIME! Thank you P90X!! I also have to do a round off back hand spring which is supposed to be easier but really isn’t for me because of my wrist. But I will get that too! Overall, great day at practice!!!!!
