It’s day 47 and I had some company today. My fiance actually did the workout with me! I had to bribe him a little bit, but I can’t believe he actually did it with me! It was legs and back so he was able to do chin-ups which he likes, so maybe that was it.
I think my chin-ups are getting better. I am still using the chair of course, but my form is improving and I am starting to actually use my back muscles instead of just my arms, which is the point of these exercises!
M stupid knee is still bothering me. I talked to my mom, who is a nurse, and she said it’s probably tendonitis. UGH! What can you do for that except ice and ibuprofen? NOTHING I don’t think! I don’t want to start wearing a brace because I don’t want to be come dependent on it. I already have an ankle brace and I have to wrap my wrist sometimes. Maybe I need more calcium for my bones. What’s good for your joints and ligaments? Time to google some stuff!
Now that I am doing phase 2 of the nutrition plan, I only ate one serving of carbs yesterday which was the tuna wrap! Go figure! I really wanted a buffalo chicken salad last night! I had no desire for a carb! Oh well. The less the better. I think the most important thing is to get enough protein and not eat over 2 servings of carbs. I always eat my fruits and vegetables and almost always get in my dairy. I like to have yogurt, cottage cheese, or string cheese as a snack and I add low fat cheddar to my eggs in the morning. After a while you automatically know what you need to eat and how much. I haven’t been keeping up with my journal, but it’s all in my head now!
Tomorrow is Kenpo X and scale time!!!! Pictures and video too! I am supposed to do a video every week, but as you can see I have been slacking in that department! I will try my hardest to come up with a good update video for weeks 5-7! These weeks have the same schedule anyway.

You might want to try glucosamine and chondroitin for your joints. They mostly help your cartilage, but may help your tendonitis (if that’s what it is).

You should look into Acupuncture for your joint pain (really any type of pain) & many other ailments!
