Hey Yall! Today was day 46 and a Yoga day. My concentration was NOT there today at ALL!!! I did the workout, but it was kinda like I was bored today. I don’t know why. I did Yoga X a whole bunch so far and I have never been bored with it. I wish I had the order memorized so I can just do it on my own time and to my own music. I think I am getting annoyed with Tony. Sometimes I want him to shut up but sometimes I need to know what to do next. When your in downward dog, it’s hard to look up at the TV so you have to listen. I could do the silence and cues I guess. I do that with all the other workouts now and put on my iTunes. I think it gets me pumped! I forgot to tell you all about it, but when I was doing Plyo yesterday listening to my own music, I was adding a little “Flavor” kinda making it into a dance move! LOL!! (that was for you “E”!) Maybe I can find some yoga-esk music that will be better than the DVD!
A friend of mine just started the P90X and he was doing Yoga X today too. I wonder how he did with that! I am sort of reluctant to show any of my fiends this blog because of my yucky before pics! I did tell my best friend about it and he gets in a good laugh! Maybe I will show my P90X buddy so he can get some comments in about his workout! It would be the best if my fiance would just do the workouts with me!!! I can’t get him to do it!!!! He says standing in front of the TV is not his idea of getting in a good workout. Little does he know it’s not that easy!!!! He wouldn’t be using the same weights as me anyway! I know he could use cardio in his life and I am glad he doesn’t read my blog!!
It’s just not realistic for me to stay in phase 1 forever, so I will move on to PHASE 2! Being able to have a wrap for lunch makes my life a whole lot easier. I found these whole wheat wraps that are only 7 “net” carbs. I don’t totally understand that because on nutrition label there are 16 carbs. But I guess that might be 7 bad carbs? I don’t know. Whatever. Probably way better than a regular flour tortilla. I really hope I can still loose weight even if it’s only 1 pound a week!
Tomorrow is…….Legs & Back + Ab ripper X. I had to check, I almost forgot! Guess what next week is……recovery week. BLAH! I don’t like Core Synergistics at ALL!!! That one and the one with all the push-ups……Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps. I like the part, but that it! Love P90X as a whole, but those two workouts give me hell!






I know exactly what you mean about tony not shutting up, I get annoyed with him until he moves on. But he keeps you motivated to keep going

Yeah, he does motivate. But sometimes you are ready to go to the next workout and he is still talking. There should be a beginners workout and then one that just goes from one workout to the next without the whole explanation.
About the “net” carbs, I believe it refers to the total carbs minus fiber. If you look at the nutrition label, it probably shows 9g of fiber. I think it is because the fiber is not able to be digested. It can also be due to sugar alcohol, as in candy. I’m not sure I buy into that part though. I think the sugar alcohol can cause gastric distress. Besides, anything that is chemical like that is suspect to me. Hope this helps.

As a low carb eater, I agree about sugar alcohols. Not only did they make my stomach rumble but the really stunted weight loss for me. Personally, I do best when I have my carbs come from vegetables. Great blog by the way. I check it out every day and often go back to see how you were doing on the day that I an currently on. tomorrow is day 20 for me.

Yay! Another awesome yoga day. Biceps still sore from yesterday, hope it stops hurting tomorrow for last day of weight lifting for phase 2!!!
