I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far! Today’s workout was Kenpo X which is always fun and I always kick butt, but I am a little sad today. I did my weekly weigh in and I haven’t lost even an ounce! I am still 146
I was so hoping to have lost 10 lbs by now. I know it could be muscle gain, but I still haven’t replaced my body fat tester so I don’t know that!!!! Oh well. At least I am actually loosing weight with this program! AND at least my pictures are looking better and better!!! Here are my week 6 photos:
Practice tomorrow which will include a uniform fitting!!!!! AHHH!!!

I just ordered it today and am so excited to get started. I can see a change in your pics, so keep at it. This is the year that I want to look so hot. Any advice for a first timer? Good luck and know that you have a fellow female in your journey.

Hi Sara,
it’s nice to have people working out with you! My advise for a first time would be to do what you can, then add just a little. This way you will be working out to the best of your ability and some. It’s the and some that really gets you those great results. Also, follow the nutrition plan! It may be a little hard at first if you are not used to eating like that, but if you follow it, you will loose way more weight than if you don’t.

I have to agree with Kris and Marvin. I pulled up your before and (so far) after pictures side by side. Your progress is most noticeable from the side view. I’ve been reading your posts since Day 10. I finally decided to order the program last night. Thanks for the motivation!

good luck with your 90 days! It really helps to sort of work out with others even if you don’t know them or can’t see them! Just writing to each other really helps to keep you going.

Do not be discouraged about not losing weight, you are looking great, the before and after pics really show a change. I have been keeping up with you I am wanting to order the program but wanted to see how the program worked for some one else. How do you stay motivated to put the DVD in everyday? The workouts look so intense… Would you say that the after workout recovery formula is a huge help?

Hi Kim, thanks for the encouragement. It is really hard not to focus on the weight loss because that is the most noticeable thing, but I will try! What motivates me is the fact that I have pictures of myself on this blog. It’s like I have to look better and better each week or I will feel like a failure in front of a lot of people! So there is a little pressure. Which is good I guess for someone who needs to be motivated into working out! Also, talking with you all on this blog really gives me a push. Everyone has been so nice and I wouldn’t want to disappoint anyone including myself! The recovery formula really does help. It really tones down that ‘right after workout’ soreness and after a week or two, stops the ‘day after’ soreness.

Thanks Sarah! I’m happy to have motivated you to try the program. It really does work as you can see! I’m no fitness fanatic. Just your average person trying to get into better shape. Sometimes infomercials can glorify results, but there is no glorification here. Just real results. Please come back after you start and tell me about how you are doing with the program!

Plenty of people say on the Beachbody.com website said that they didn’t lose any significant weight until after day 60 – but they got a lot leaner. How do your jeans fit? If they were tight when you started an looser now, you are losing fat!
I haven’t lost any weight either but this is cool – my boyfriend has been gone for a month (visiting relatives) and when he got back he touched my butt and said – wow this is firm! (good enough for me!)
Keep bringing it!

Hi Barb, yes my jeans are getting loose. So far I have lost 9 pounds and I weigh myself every Saturday. LOL!! My fiance is actually starting to complain that my butt is getting smaller, but I don’t mind at all!!!

I really like what you’re doing here. Great idea. I ordered the system a few days ago and I am looking forward to getting started. I have to say I certainly do see a difference in your photos from day 1. Keep it up. It’s working! The scale doesn’t always paint an accurate picture!

Hey Scott! Thanks for stopping by! Thanks also for the complements! I have learned that the scale isn’t THAT important. What’s important is how you look and feel! The real measure of results will come at the end of 90 days when I take that fit test again!

Today was awesome! Kenpo X always is. Gonna do 40 extra mins of cardio later on … oh yeah, i’ve been doing an extra 600-900 calories workout extra this week. Its got me worn down a bit more, feeling hungry a bit more, gritting my teeth a bit more, bringin it a bit moer =D
