So it’s day 38, back & biceps and ab ripper x. Great workout today. Last week I started using the chin-up bar with the help of a chair. The key is to not use your leg as much as possible. I don’t want to get more of a leg workout than a back workout. So I did about 10 reps with good form for most of the chin-up exercises. I still can’t do one without a chair, but hello, Dreya still uses a chair too!! I don’t want huge arms, but I like using the 40 lb band for the bicep exercises! I am starting to notice a TINY bit of definition in my arms and I like it! I don’t want body builder arms, and I don’t think I would ever make it that far, but I do want little bumps!
My form is getting better with ab ripper. I have been able to do all of the reps for a couple weeks now, but the movement is getting cleaner. I was really struggling with the oblique side crunches and the mason twists, but I think I have those down now. Working on that tummy!!!
For breakfast, I had a little more than usual, but nothing bad. I just don’t want to be starving at lunch and eat something bad. So I had my egg white scramble, and I added a recovery drink/shakeology smoothie. I added skim milk, a little water, ice, and frozen strawberries. It was really good and I really needed it! My arms were really sore. I am already starting to feel better! So I figured the shake and eggs would fill me up a little better. I had that at about 11 am this morning. It’s only 12:47 and I am hungry, but I think my metabolism is speeding up. If I only had the eggs, I would be starving to death right now!!! So I think I will start to have both from now on every morning.
Is there anyone out there that has been on a diet for more than a month? I like that it’s helping me loose weight, but do you know what I hate??? If I do slip and eat one more carb than I should, I feel like my belly gets instantly bigger!!! I like eating healthy, but it makes me feel so bad when I eat anything outside of the plan! I think I am dwelling stupid stuff!
Well, I will talk to you all tomorrow! Hoping to loose 2 lb that will put me over a 10 lb loss so far!

Hi Erin, I found a great way to curb my carbs. I use fat free organic milk (80 cals per cup) add a banana and a scoop or 2 of protein powder (rocky road is my fav) and 4 ice cubes to make a shake. Its light yet filling and tastes great.
Wow! This workout is so hard for me. biceps get real tired real fast then I struggle with the pull ups massively. For example, the first set, I can do 12 pullup without chair and 12 with chair. For the last set, I did 4 without chair and 12 with. Just ridiculous how well made this workout is.
Yoga up next!!!

Hey Sabil,
that shake sounds good actually! I like vanilla whey and bananas…..a few strawberries too!
