Hey all! Today was the first day I did Core Synergistics. It was not fun. I didn’t like it at all! Maybe because my core is weak! It’s not a bad workout, it’s just really hard! I feel like it alternates between impossible moves to very possible moves. Like those chutterunga running things. I can’t do that! There was a couple other moves that I was just watching the DVD like, “what the hell??!!??”. I did get down and try them as best as I could. I was kinda pissed afterwards because I felt like I didn’t get in a good workout for the day because I couldn’t do all of the exercises! I would take Plyometrics over this any day!
So anyway, my diet is still on track and I am still eating every two hours. I have decided to add Shakeology to my diet. I tried it before and it really helps your digestion, and I’m sure does a lot of other good things for your body! So I am going to alternate Shakeology and egg white scrambles for breakfast. I have been going through eggs like it’s nobody’s business!!
At lest I get to do Kenpo X tomorrow! I like this workout and I kill it every time!






don’t get hard on yourself they make it look easy! i know how you feel – the first time that i did chinups and pullups i was using the chair so much i felt like i was doing squats! but i used my arms as much as i could and got a good workout even though every exercise was VERY modified. it’s no different than using a 10lb weight when they are using 100lb. – as long as your have good form and your last reps are hard, you’re only going to get stronger! good luck!
I actually TOTALLY love core syn – I did it for the first time the other day and my core was SO SORE.

Thanks Rosa! Yeah, I hopefully soon I will be able to do a pull-up. I’m going to stick to the bands until the 50lb band gets easy! I would rather modify and get some good reps in with good form than attempt to do the exercises like Tony and only get one or 2 reps in.

WOW!!! I have to say that going into this I was scared. I was more scared of my abilities of doing it. Therefore I made sure that hubby was here to do it with me. I did oh, so much better than I thought I would. I was absoultely proud of myself at the end. I sort of wish it was in the circular more often, that way I could have more time to improve on it that much more. I have to say, that I could grow to love this one as much as I do Kenpo..which is coming up tomorrow…YES!

It’s great that you love core. It’s really a great workout, but if you’re not into it, you wont get much from it.
