P90X Day 20: Kenpo x 2!

Hello everyone!  Today is the 20th day of my workout!  I can’t believe I have even made it this far!  I did my Kenpo workout this morning.  This is always a fun workout for me.  An easy way to burn calories.  Since today is my family’s big Christmas party, I have decided to do Kenpo again later tonight.  I know I will be eating things I am not supposed to, but it is a holiday party!  I sure there wont be any brown rice or boneless skinless chicken breast served!  There will be Norwegian meatballs, ham, macaroni and cheese, baked ziti, and a ton of other things I am not supposed to eat!  But I will be sure to eat in small portions spread out.  Hopefully!!!

I have my week three photos ready.  I only lost one pound :( but at least I am no longer in the 150’s!!!  149!  I haven’t be under 150 in a long time!  I guess every small step counts.  I bet it was that damn cheeseburger!!!!!  Or it could be that I am gaining more muscle as I loose fat.  I hope that’s the case.  I did do a sneak check of my body fat % and it is going down.  I wont give it away until after week 4 when I take all my measurements again.  So here are my photos and I will be putting my weekly update video together tonight.  That should be up monday or tuesday.

So there they are.  I think I am starting to tone up a little.  I know the scale can’t be the only measure of progress, but every girl wants to see a low number on that scale!

    HI, I’ve been thinking about doing this program for a while now. Do you feel like your seeing substantial results?

    Hello Aron,

    I think so. This is my third week and I have lost 6 lbs and more importantly, my body fat percentage is going down. I am gaining muscle and toning up. I have been reading other blogs and most people don’t start to see a visible difference until week 8, but maybe that’s the muscle definition. I can see a difference between my before pictures and my most recent ones. Not muscle definition, but I do seem to be getting smaller! To get to my before pictures, click on day one and there is a link on top of the post in light grey that says before pictures. Beware! They are a little scary!

    What, What?!? I have 3 weeks down. I am amazed with myself more than anything. I am seeing areas getting smaller, while other areas are still lingering, but those areas will come along with due time and some serious sweat.

    The main thing I am thankful for is I have had no set backs. My kids have stayed healthy so far with no hospitalizations, making this all the more possilbe :)

    Go Renee, go renee, get it done Renee!!!!! Congrats on the shrinking areas! That’s always exciting! You’re really doing it! Keep up the good work and you will see an improvement in those other areas too.
