19 down, 71 to go!

Hello!  Today was legs and back and ab ripper x.  I am actually glad this is the last time I will be doing this workout until phase 3.  I can see now what they mean about hitting plateau.  Well, I didn’t really hit one, but I feel like I need a change right about now.  Which is great because I will start the “rest” week on monday!  For the chin-up exercises I was using the 40 lb band still, but I upped my reps by 5 this week for a total of 25 each.  I am able to do all of the leg exercises, all of the reps.  So nothing really exciting or new going on with this workout.

dreya weberAB RIPPER on the other hand keeps getting better and better!  Today I was a mere 11 reps short of completing the entire workout!  YESSSSSS!!!!  This is what I need.  My belly needs to get gone!!  I want Dreya Webber abs!!!

Still going strong eating every two hours.  This really helps me to not eat so much at dinner time.  Before I didn’t give a crap, I just ate and ate and ate.  Now if I eat a big meal, I feel like running 10 miles to burn it off!  So let’s keep this going!

I am really curious to see how much I weigh this week.  I only lost 1 lb last week which was a moral killer, but hopefully I will have better results this week!!  Week three pictures will be up over the weekend after my last workout which is Kenop X tomorrow.  At the end of week 4 I get to check my body fat percentage and I think I will check all of my other measurements too.  I will post my pre-P90X and week 4 measurements.  I do have practice on sunday.  I think it will be a choreography day, so there wont be as much tumbling as last week :(

    Hey Erin,

I will check back daily as much as possible (except for tomorrow). It’s good to have someone else running along at just about the same rate.

I played 1.5 hours of racquetball and then did the Core Synergistics (sp). Ugh. I was having a hard time keeping up later in the workout. My racquetball game has taken massive steps forward. The accuracy of my shots, quickness in the court and overall strength is significantly better than just three weeks ago. Even after being off the court for a few years, I am passing up players that have played continuously.

As far as diet, I still indulged in some sweets today with all the Christmas stuff around work. However, the proportions were really small compared to what I would have normally taken. Just a weeeee bit of chocolate.

I won’t be checking in tomorrow, but will be back on Sunday. I can’t wait for my 5th week to start.

    Hi Greg,

that’s what I am looking forward to with this workout. Not only loosing weight and getting into shape, but being able to perform better at my sport. It’s cool that your game is getting better in just three weeks! Racquetball seems like a pretty intense cardio workout. I have never played, but maybe I can try it!

Once the holidays pass, it will be much easier to stick to the diet. I ate a tiny cheesecake at my family’s christmas party. Hey, you just can’t help it! It’s a party!

I look forward to hearing from you and going along with you on this workout!

Ok, I understand about needing to give this workout a rest….I was able to do all the reps and feel a great/wonderful burn, but I need a switch-a-roo.

My husband envies Adam on the Ab Ripper and considering he looks almost identical to him (hair and all, minus the stack pack) he is very determined when it comes to Ab Ripper. I want my baby belly gone, but like you I do not want to lose all my butt. :)

We (kids and all) have been hooked lately on home made chicken salad with apples and grapes in it…it is wonderful and very filling. I have gotten wonderful with using my spices on making things taste more appetizing. Hubby and I are drinking about a gallon of water each.

Just think this time around the weather is warming up and grilling out will become more of an option on meals. Still lean and healthy. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. I swim almost daily with the kids during the summer, so this workout is a must!!!!
From what I have seen you should not be worrying to much about a cover-up. You have made remarkable change and should be proud. I am preaching to myself here as well, we have 2 trips planned for the summer and 1 is to the beach.

    Hey Renee,

yeah, my butt is gone :( That the price I had to pay I guess!

I love grilling out too!!! I just moved so I have a nice patio to grill on! I can’t wait! I do have a charcoal grill which I don’t have the hang of yet, so I need to work on that!!! I don’t want to smoke my neighbors out of their houses!!

I love swimming too. In college I would do like 40 laps in an olympic sized pool after my workouts. It just makes you feel so much better. The only place I can swim is at our YMCA but I don’t know if I want a membership for $60 a month just to swim. I know I probably wont use it otherwise.

I hope you have lots of fun on your trips!! Love the beach…I could live on one.

Great workout out today. Nice gains everywhere. Broke the 300 mark on the ab ripper X and am up to 115 chin ups (started at 68). So pretty amazed at the gains I made. I know you are supposed to see more improvement in the first few weeks but, that’s much more than I expected. Almost at the end of phase I here, pretty happy with the way things have gone. Also, I lost 8 lbs (started at 153, and am at 145 now) in 3 weeks!
