19 down, 71 to go!

Hello!  Today was legs and back and ab ripper x.  I am actually glad this is the last time I will be doing this workout until phase 3.  I can see now what they mean about hitting plateau.  Well, I didn’t really hit one, but I feel like I need a change right about now.  Which is great because I will start the “rest” week on monday!  For the chin-up exercises I was using the 40 lb band still, but I upped my reps by 5 this week for a total of 25 each.  I am able to do all of the leg exercises, all of the reps.  So nothing really exciting or new going on with this workout.

dreya weberAB RIPPER on the other hand keeps getting better and better!  Today I was a mere 11 reps short of completing the entire workout!  YESSSSSS!!!!  This is what I need.  My belly needs to get gone!!  I want Dreya Webber abs!!!

Still going strong eating every two hours.  This really helps me to not eat so much at dinner time.  Before I didn’t give a crap, I just ate and ate and ate.  Now if I eat a big meal, I feel like running 10 miles to burn it off!  So let’s keep this going!

I am really curious to see how much I weigh this week.  I only lost 1 lb last week which was a moral killer, but hopefully I will have better results this week!!  Week three pictures will be up over the weekend after my last workout which is Kenop X tomorrow.  At the end of week 4 I get to check my body fat percentage and I think I will check all of my other measurements too.  I will post my pre-P90X and week 4 measurements.  I do have practice on sunday.  I think it will be a choreography day, so there wont be as much tumbling as last week :(

    Hey Erin,

I will check back daily as much as possible (except for tomorrow). It’s good to have someone else running along at just about the same rate.

I played 1.5 hours of racquetball and then did the Core Synergistics (sp). Ugh. I was having a hard time keeping up later in the workout. My racquetball game has taken massive steps forward. The accuracy of my shots, quickness in the court and overall strength is significantly better than just three weeks ago. Even after being off the court for a few years, I am passing up players that have played continuously.

As far as diet, I still indulged in some sweets today with all the Christmas stuff around work. However, the proportions were really small compared to what I would have normally taken. Just a weeeee bit of chocolate.

I won’t be checking in tomorrow, but will be back on Sunday. I can’t wait for my 5th week to start.

    Hi Greg,

that’s what I am looking forward to with this workout. Not only loosing weight and getting into shape, but being able to perform better at my sport. It’s cool that your game is getting better in just three weeks! Racquetball seems like a pretty intense cardio workout. I have never played, but maybe I can try it!

Once the holidays pass, it will be much easier to stick to the diet. I ate a tiny cheesecake at my family’s christmas party. Hey, you just can’t help it! It’s a party!

I look forward to hearing from you and going along with you on this workout!

    Erin
