Hello again! Yoga! This workout is tough in general, but I can handle most of it. I have trouble with a couple of the balance postures, but I did do the side arm balance posture today. I wasn’t able to do that before. I was actually doing the vinyasas correctly. Not just collapsing and pushing up into upward dog. I got upward dog right today too! Knees off the floor! Still can’t do crane, but I surely try every time! This program is really all about doing your best and aiming to do better next time (didn’t want to quote Tony again lol!). I’m not saying workouts are getting easier for me, but each week I am able to get more out of them. Sweet!
Yesterday I was on top of my diet. I made sure I ate every two hours. Egg scramble for breakfast, yogurt and a banana for a snack, tomato soup for lunch, P90X bar for a second snack and yummy chicken parmesan meatballs with whole wheat pasta for dinner. No cheeseburgers! Today I am continuing on my schedule. EVERY TWO HOURS! Small meals and snacks.
This is the last week of Phase I. Monday will bring a different schedule and different workouts. It’s supposed to be a recovery week with no resistance training but I hear Core Synergistics is just as brutal as Plyometrics. Great! Another workout to absolutely DREAD!

Hey Erin,
Be ready for Core Synergistics. It is up there with Plyo. I’m about a week ahead of you on my first round of P90X and will be coming out of my break week on Monday. I can’t wait. BTW – great job on keeping with the diet plan. I’m working more towards it and will probably kick that into full gear after Christmas.
Keep Working Hard –
Greg

Hi Greg,
thanks for stopping by! I am scared of Core Synergistics! Then to have both core and plyo in one week!! I thought this was supposed to be a rest week! It will probably be much harder! Good for you for making it through this “rest” week.
I hear you about the diet! You might as well wait, because I am worried about Christmas! I have been pretty much sticking to the diet, but I know I wont be soon. Well, tomorrow I have my big family Christmas party. Lots of insane food. Then on Christmas Eve, another get together with my immediate family. More food. Then Christmas day with my fiancé’s immediate family. EVEN MORE FOOD! I am gonna need a whole lot of strength to get through these three days! I’ll have to keep some protein bars handy to fill me up so I don’t pig out on the bad stuff! Chocolate peanut butter for dessert!
Anyway, thanks for the encouragement! It’s nice to hear from someone. I haven’t had anybody comment in a few days! I must be getting boring!
Ok we made it through Yoga with the help of Homedics Smooth Sounds sound machine. Wow, we have to do this twice next week. That is fine, just gives me more chances to get even better at it.
Wow, Puerto Rico. You will have a blast, espcially now that you will be looking fabulous. Just think with this new lifestyle what you will look like on the future trips as well
.
I am now wishing I would have blogged about my experience as well from the begining. I blog my kiddies lives, afterall.
March 15th…get ready to “Bring It”

That’s a cool idea……using sounds of nature to drown out Tony! I like Yoga too, but it seems to drag sometimes. You will get better as time goes on! You’re doing great so far!!!
I can’t wait to hit the beach! I got a hottie new bikini…….Zebra! Of course I still don’t have the perfect bikini body, but a nice one piece is hard to find now a days and I hate wearing cover ups!
It’s still great that you are commenting on this blog…….you can share your experiences and see how others are doing as well.
I am actually really excited to start round two!!!
