Hi! Today’s workout was great! I keep upping my weights! I used the green band, which is 40 lbs for a lot of the arm exercises. I think I brought it today! I wanna be buff!!!! Just kidding!! I don’t want to be bulky!! I am doing more 12-15 reps which is supposed to give you lean muscle. I feel like I burn more calories with heavier weights and I want to build muscle now while they are still small!!! I have that fat hand under my arm that I would like to see gone!!
I brought it with Ab Ripper too!! I keep doing more and more every time! Today I completed 306 reps!
My diet ………zzzzzzzzzz……….We actually today I made something really tasty for breakfast. I took 3 egg whites, a little chopped onion, a couple squares of 2% cheddar, and 1 little slice of chicken breast, chopped up, and scrambled that all together. It was sooo yummy! It filled me up more than just the eggs, and gave me more protein and a little bit of dairy. A more complete breakfast I think. I also had about 1/2 cup of orange juice along with my recovery drink.
I have to confess something. I used to be a fast food eater. Love McDonald’s, Burger King, Taco Bell, KFC, etc. That’s probably why I was fat. And the fact that I only worked out once a week. Anyway, I haven’t eaten anything like that since I started this program and I haven’t had ANY soda! BUT……last night I was going to subway to get a whole wheat 6 inch, and Burger King for my kids. They are young and don’t eat subs. So anyway, I was sooooooo freaken hungry, I got a cheeseburger and ate it in the car on the way home. Then got home and ate my sub!!!!! This was my first MAJOR pit fall with my diet!!!! I’m SORRY!!! I was sooooooooooooo STARVING!!!! It’s my fault, not the programs. I don’t eat the full amount of food that I am supposed to during the day so I am really hungry at dinner. I often skip snacks and 3 egg whites alone doesn’t really cut it for breakfast!
So I put myself on a more strict eating schedule. I will eat every 2 hours. No excuses!!! I have discovered a more filling breakfast with the scramble, and I wont skip my snacks! So I shouldn’t be so hungry at the end of the day.
Tomorrow is Yoga. Can’t wait!

I just found your blog, I know I’m a few months late but I’m on week 3 of the program right now, but I’m actually extending phase 1 for another week because I pulled something in my back last week and missed 2 workouts! BUT I just wanted to say that I have the same problem you mentioned in this post. I am never hungry during the day–I drink one latte everyday, with skim milk, which might be one reason I’m not hungry, but before bedtime I get really hungry! One thing I’ve found that helps is to drink a LOT of water–I drink 16 oz bottles, and I drink about 5 every day! It fills you up–or makes you feel like you’re full. The earlier you can go to bed the better, the later you stay up, the more hungry you get. And I’ve learned to eat my 1 carb and 1 fruit before my workout (i work out in the afternoon) because they will be used as energy for your workout and also will be burned off! You don’t want to store carb as fat if you eat it later. and, it keeps you more satisfied so you aren’t starving later! good luck!

It felt amazing today…I got in a great workout. I have found a couple of great ideas to spruce up my chicken salad and oatmeal…making it deliciousosososos.
Have you chosen your next fitness move/goal/workout regimen? I look several times a day anxiously waiting. I know life is busy, but I am waiting to see your final results and to see what is next for you.
On a side note, hubby and I watched Core Synergistics the other evenind to see what we had in store for us coming next week, I was so sick of Dreya, I am glad I do not have to do that cd very often….uuugghhh. I mean, yeah she is in great shape,but this is not Dreya, it is P90X, by Tony Horton. Just had to vent that, sorry….I will hush.

LOL!!! I hear you on the Dreya thing. I think Tony is actually a little obsessed with her. She is on practically all the packaging too! She is in awesome shape, but she is also a gymnast and aerialist, plus she was in a movie. I’m sure she did the P90X at least once, but her body was probably awesome before P90X.
