Hello everyone! Today was legs and back and ab ripper x. Like I said in a previous post, I am really going to try and “bring it” when it comes to strength training. I upped my weight for the chin-up exercises from 30 to 40 lbs (green band) and I used 20 lbs for the calf raises. Before I was using 12 lbs. I am not trying to get bulk, but I know the more muscle you have, the more fat your body can burn when you work out. So I did well with this workout today. I pushed myself and I was able to write some impressive numbers down on my worksheets.
The only issue I had today with this workout was my stupid knee. UGH! Always an injury! Two weeks ago I kind of hyperextended my knee while landing a punch front at practice. So I feel a little pinch when I bend it while putting pressure on it. It’s not excruciating or anything, it just hurts enough to be really annoying. I tried wrapping it up, but that doesn’t help. I think it will heal with time, it’s just bothersome at the moment.
AB RIPPER X! Wow! This workout seems to be getting more and more intense every time I do it! It’s the same DVD! I am getting better at this. Today I was able to do 300 out of the 349 reps! The first time I think I only did 200 or so. I was definitely bringing it today! The only exercises that I skimped out on were the crunchy frogs, v-up roll ups, oblique v-ups, and mason twists. I did most of the reps, but was 5 or 10 short on these particular ones. Yesssssss!!!
My son wants ripped abs too!
My diet is the same. Eating the same things. It’s easier that way! I did eat a little less than I should the last couple of days, but I’m just not that hungry anymore. DIET: WORKING! I am looking forward to our annual family Christmas party, but I know I am not going to be sticking to my diet that day. You will all just have to forgive me! My family’s cooking is soooooo goooood! And the desserts. OMG! I will just have to use some restraint and not stuff myself silly that day!
Talk to you all tomorrow! Last workout of the week: Kenpo X + more pictures and weekly update video!

It is me….I killed it today and it felt MARVELOUS…well except for Ab Ripper, but I brought my A game to the table and did all I could, with note to self that improvement is needed. I will be doing Pilates later this evening to get a much a better core workout in. Your son is too cute with his copper curls, one of mine is just like that: I have 2 boys and a girl. Thanks for the smoothie info.

Sweet! Don’t you just love that feeling when you know you did your best!?!? Ab ripper will get easier. I couldn’t do all the reps at first. Last week I did ab ripper two days in a row, and I know Tony advises against that, but I really felt it the second day. You know when you do something regularly you start to get used to it, well doing ab ripper two days in a row made me feel my ab muscles again which I liked!
I wish I could take classes like pilates or a light yoga class with other people, but I just don’t have the time!!! I do have time, but I would feel like I was always leaving my kids at home, ya know?
My son is such a ham! I do love his curs, but it might be time for a big boy hair cut!!
Kudos to you for sticking with this program with triplets!
