Hey! Starting off week two! Chest and Back was the workout for today. I upped my band weight for the chin-up exercises to the green band. I think that’s 40 lbs. I did about 20 reps for all of the chin-up moves, and for the push-ups, I actually did a few more this time around. Last week I was doing 5, sometimes 8. This week, I did 10 for almost all of the push-up exercises, so I am getting better! They are still very hard for me, but I working on it! You know what exercise I really don’t like? That back fly one. It’s actually really hard for me to get the right positioning to do this one. I also think I using too much weight. I might have to go down to 10 lbs next week. I don’t know, this one is just uncomfortable for me (back flys).
Ab ripper x is difficult as usual! I did as much as I can (most of the reps actually), taking a pause here and there. This is just a workout that you have to try to do better each time.
For breakfast I made a nice smoothie. Yogurt, strawberries, vanilla whey, recovery formula (i drank it right after my workout), water and ice. I thought the two different powders were going to make it taste gross, but it was actually pretty good! For lunch, I had tomato soup and I will be having a snack soon which will be cottage cheese and fruit. I’ll probably have a P90X bar a little later if I’m hungry again. Im making pepper steak for dinner tonight. As I did before, I will be eating carefully measured portions of brown rice and beans along with the pepper steak. If I remember, I’ll take some more pictures if anyone out there needs meal ideas for the portion approach.

I could tell on todays workout a big difference from last week. I could do more and pushed myself more. Does Yoga get any easier though? I am not very flexible and found some of it very difficult? I will not give up though. I am solo parenting this week, therefore I get a workout within a workout with the triplets (they enjoy)! I love the legs and Kenpo work outs, the kiddies love Polymetrics

Hi Renee,
Yoga does get easier, but it is tough at first. Even for me and was a little flexible to start.
That’s so cute! I can just imagine your twins giggling at you jumping around in the living room!!
Keep up the good work!!! You have a great attitude which is perfect for this program. My kids tend to get in the way and aggravate me! They are 2 and 4 so I should expect that!!
