Jen: Children should be put in a bubble when they are sick LOL
My son has been battling a cold for at least a week. The whole change of season, snotty nosed, coughing nastiness. Well guess what? Yours truly has finally been infested with the gross little germs thanks to said child (being all of 4) wiping his sickly little paws everywhere. My throat is sore, I am exhusted, I feel hot even though it’s 67 in my house, etc etc. I love the little bugger anyways, even if he did get me sick. Needless to say, this has made my workout today suck just a little bit. Just doing the warm up got me tired. My head was throbbing during those jumping jacks. My balance seemed to be really off too. But I was a trooper and continued on. I strived for quality today instead of busting out a bunch of crappy moves. Like on the speed skaters, I believe you’re supposed to do 20 or 30 but I probably only got out 15. But they were a really good 15! Since switching to a heavier band I have noticed that my reps have decreased, which is a good thing. It means I am building that muscle. I ended up skipping out on ab ripper. By the end of the first workout I was really not feeling too well. I just didn’t have it in me. So I am going to shower and get some rest in hopes that I will be in better shape for tomorrow’s kenpo. Sorry the blog is so short guys. I know you understand.
Tom: Happy Friday everyone .. I am doing great woke up this morning, felt real good yoga x was a good workout. I stretch and flex better than I did my first 30 days. My morning breakfast was two whole wheat waffles with surup just a enough so give thw waffles a kick. I had a glass of milk and a banana. Work was a good one for the A.M shift flow went steady. I have been loosing out on alot of hours the past couple of days, so it was nice to finally make a few. My A.M. snack was a recovery drink. My wife and I went to Applebees for lunch I had a bacon,cheese,onion,lettuce,tomato,A-1suace on a burger DAMN it was finally nice to have one of those loaded with fries. No its not on my lunch menu for today but I was due!!! I had 2 diet pepsi’s to was it all down. My P.M. snack was a yogart and a sourdough pretzel. My workout tonight was less reps more weight. I am still using the 25lbs free weights for my lunges. Maxing out at 12 reps for all my band moves for my door attachment pullups. I am still currently using my blue band for all of those. My legs are feeling stronger. I was getting airborn for the 80/20 for my last 10 reps during that excercise. Wall squats 2 legged and 1 legged I can feel my legs start to shake during the last half of those. The chair lunges I am doing great with. Once you get into this, the moves just flow out of you. What can I say Just Bring it people. I am feeling very good I can feel a nice differance in my total body. I have no had back pain hardly at all since this program it is slowing going away. Only if i sleep funny I wake up with a tiny minor pain , but since PX90 its gotten better. Abripper is doing my midsection wonders i can see results in my stomach area, I am still having to fight to straighten my legs during the moves. I do much better now at Abripper than I did my first couple of weeks. Well I dont drink that much beer anymore so i’m sure that helps and doing the P90x program helps out a bunch. You guys look wonderful…I seen this on TV last night and started lookin at these onive….Jen, I am impressed!!!I truly wish i could afford this RIGHT NOW!!! 4 kids later I really really need this for my body, my health, and my SANITY!
