How am I feeling today………..the upper parts of my arms are still sore. Pretty much never stopped since starting this program. Don’t get me wrong, not any sort of agonzing pain. Just a dull ache that let’s you know you’re body is working hard. With that being said, on to the Yoga X program. The poses were very difficult and I am definately not used to stretching that way. It was an hour and a half of yoga……..LOTS OF STRETCHING. I kept falling over and trying to keep up. It was a nice break from the normal grinding routine, but I still broke a slight sweat here and there. As the weeks go on I hope to improve my form and become more flexible. I loved at the end where you had to chant or whatever that was. After I finished my workout and came into my bedroom my wife and kids all started chanting (they were making fun). The kids thought it was hilarious! Tomorrow it will be my “off day”. Usually this day would be on Sunday, but I will be going to a Motley Crue concert right after work. I won’t be able to fit in my P90X workout before or after. So I will be off tomorrow and will continue on Saturday and Sunday. So I’ll talk to you all tomorrow. To those of you that are leaving the nice supportive comments………my thanks. It’s great to hear that someone is encouraging me and helps a lot. Keep checking in and keep in touch!

Geez, just got done with mine and I was wondering how you did. I was hoping you did it. Ive heard a lot of people dont do the yoga part of the program, well its there for a reason I say, so do it.
But yeah, some of those poses were insane. And all those vinyasas or however you spell it, killed my shoulders. And I cant get my damn legs in the air to save my life. Thats frustrating for me. How did you only break a light sweat? Holy crap, I was drenched after about 15 minutes. But I like that, lets me know im working.
Keep up the goodwork, me and my friend are sore, but like you said nothing too bad. Its actually a good feeling. Have a good time at the concert tomorrow. I’ll check in with you Saturday after Kenpo!
Josh,
That’s so awesome to know I have someone going right along with me. Makes me feel like I’m not suffering alone LOL! No, I figured I’m in this 100% so I have to do all the programs. Besides my wife is always saying how she feel great after she does yoga so I figured I’sd give it a shot. I did feel better. Helped stretch some of those sore muscles anyways. Don’t know why I was swetaing as usual. Maybe because I wasn’t flexing as much or something. I’m sure by next week it’ll be different. You guys keep up the good work too! Keep me posted on your progress. And remember Josh………BRING IT!
Hi Tom and Jen,
I am so happy you posted this stuff because you and I are having the same feelings. My legs still kill mostly because I set at a computer all day and when I get up they hurt from the work out still. Yoga X last night was difficult for me because I never did Yoga before. The fist half of the video I found really challenging because I am not as flexible as the people in the video. The second half was the best and felt really good. Thanks again for this website.
Hi Tom. Well day 4. Yoga. Not my cup of tea. I did it for about a half hour, gave up, went to cadio workout on eliptical instead. Sweated up a store. Ready to get back to the good pain ful stuff. Hopefully tommoroww will be better.
ooooooo. You gotta do that Yoga X buddy!!!!!!! If you don’t sweat during Yoga X then you’re not doing it right!
It’s such a great workout and really helps to not only build your focus but also builds stamina, flexibility and balance. It’s in the program for a reason.
