P90X Review Day 7 and 8: New Years in NYC

The problem I had last time, is that I felt if I skipped a day or two I would basically have to quit the program. As much as I am committed to bringing it, I am committed to enjoying my life as well! I am going down to NYC for two days to visit my girlfriend and to enjoy new years. I will take two days off. However, I will do some stretching today and some push ups tomorrow. I think that this shows a better balance. Not to make it all or nothing. But to do a toned down version while I am away. I will do some various push-ups and stretching.

Hey Brian, I’m glad to see you’re back with it. I notice that day 3 does not work from the top right hand menu (in the header), but does work when linking from the top left menu (under the header) on day’s 2 and 4. Keep up the good work, we got a little worried last time when you disappeared for so long.

Weight Loss in 5 Easy Steps

    Thank you
Thank you for taking the time to read this article. We know that your time is valuable, and aim to give you the most value possible for the time you invest in reading our article. We have put together a 5 step success plan for losing weight.

    Step 1: Goals
The first step to achieving the healthy body you deserve is setting goals. I’m not talking about vague goals like “I want to lose weight!” or “I want to look better in the mirror.” I am talking about specific goals, such as “I want to lose 5 kg in one month.” or “I want to lose 2 pants sizes in 2 months.” In setting goals, it is important to both make them a challenge and make them attainable. To lose 1 kg per month would not be much of a challenge & to lose 50 kg per month would not be attainable.

    Step 2: Breaking it Down
The second step to achieving the healthy body you deserve is breaking your goal into smaller pieces. If your goal is to lose 40 kg in one year try breaking it down into losing 3 to 4 kg per month. If this still seems too high, break it into just 1 kg per week.

    Step 3: Choose a Program
Now that you have clearly identified and broken down your goals, you are ready to choose a program. We have found Fat Loss 4 Idiots to be a real winner. It has been our # 1 seller, and we have received lot of positive feedback from our customers regarding the program. You can find it on our Weight Loss page.

    Step 4: Exercise
One ingredient that is often missed in weight loss programs is exercise. Though you can lose weight without exercise, physical activity greatly improves your chances of success. This can be as simple as walking every day, or as complex as you would like to make it. Check out our Fitness page for some suggestions on exercise routines that may work for you.

    Step 5: Success
With broken down goals, a winning program, and proper exercise, you are sure to succeed. Please post your success stories in our Guest Book at http://www.hotterthanhealth.com/

Nice to see you back at it Brian. I ordered P90X and await its arrival. However I have a question about the diet. First are you going at it via the portion plan or the meal plan? Does it make you feel as if you have not gotten enough to eat or hungry through out your day?

I am about to order p90x and noticed Brian Dillon’s comment on helping new customers set up a blog, domain name and template website. I love to track my results just as Brian does, what is the first step, can anyone help, this is the only place I found that you can submit anything, hope it make’s it to Brian, thanks

Yeah! Brian! You are back! Don’t be embarrassed about quitting, it’s life and this is tough stuff! I started and quit after THIRTY DAYS when Thanksgiving rolled around… Now, I am back. And, in the first week, I skipped a day and was ready to throw it all out the window AGAIN. But, this time I just kept pushing forward. If I miss a day, I miss a day. That’s just going to have to be my story. Otherwise, I will NEVER finish. Sometimes life INTERUPTS my workouts, oh well. I will however TRY MY BEST not to CHEAT on my DIET. That is one thing I think I MOST DEFINATELY don’t have to ‘fudge’ up!!!! I DRINK too and I am always out, BUT for 90 days I am going to try and tone it down a bit. And, when I do go out, I AM GOING TO HAVE ONE GLASS OF WINE. That is IT.

Anyway gotta run. So happy you are back! I will keep track again!!!

    Jenna.

Hey Brian – glad to see you back at it. Your blog is one of the reasons I decided to commit to the X. I just hit Day 60 (I was laid low with flumonia for 2 weeks) but I just picked up where I left off (it was a recovery week anyway) and am trudging forward. I figure it isn’t a one time thing anyway – I’ll be doing this for a long time to come – so having an extended recovery week isn’t the worst thing that could happen. Look forward to reading your adventures :)

    Bring it,
    Jeff

Hey Brian, where did you go? I’ve just been looking over the beachbody forums and seeing some of the results people have been getting. I was really looking forward to watching you getting some awesome results.

Hope you to be seeing them soon.

  12. 12 Hi Brian

First I would like to say congratulations on all your hard work and dedication. You are not only working out, but you have also taken the time to share your thoughts and experiences, but more importantly your ups and downs. You are truly an inspiration to many of us out here in the real world. It’s nice to see real pictures, not pictures that have been touched up to make you look like some supermodel. Anyhow, I purchased P90X about a month back and am going to get started. And would like to know how to go about setting up a web page like yours and maybe get some pointers on how to post pictures, etc. You can email me at chichi432@yahoo.com

Thank you for keeping us posted. Good Luck with the rest of your journey.
