I really think that the key to success with the p90x is the Yoga workout. I know when I had my blog before people commented on how little progress it seemed I had made. The unfortunate thing is that it is hard to capture all the change with a photograph. The truth is that there is a lot of changes that happen beneath the surface. Yes, it is fun and exciting to look jacked and ripped to show off. But, as I have realized, perhaps its more important to feel fit, flexible, and most importantly healthy and energized. Yoga has the ability to unclog your body and your mind. After doing yoga I have this light, open feeling that goes beyond just looking ripped. It makes your body feel like a million dollars when your done.
Yoga is a necessary medicine for my body that takes a beating on the other p90x workouts. The amazing thing is that the other workouts actually do a great job of building muscle. The problem sometimes is that will all the new muscle growth and body reshaping you can feel stiff, tight, and sometimes uncomfortable. Yoga X helps to soothe that process like a doctors anesthesia.

Brian,
Thanks for explaining your Yoga experience they way you did. I was not looking forward to YogaX and actually thought about skipping it all together. I was thinking of changing Yoga day to a rest day or replacing it with some type of cardio. But after reading your point of view I will stick to the entire plan as described. Can you help me set up a blog like yours. I sent you an E-mail a few days but haven’t gotten your response. I hope my E-mail didn’t go to your junk mail. Thanks a lot.
Hey, about the blog set-up I am getting things in order to make easy for people to implement using word press. I should be done in a couple of days and be able to give easy instructions for setting it up like me. This goes out to all who have emailed me about this. Sorry I haven’t gotten back yet, I am not ignoring you!
Also, I am glad you are gonna do Yoga X. It really is awesome. It is also perhaps the most difficult. Strength and flexibility AND patience. Stick with it and your body will really thank you.
Hey! nice to see your back! I found your blog before I started doing P90X and I loved it. I am on day 82. I Love/Hate yogaX! You feel great when you are done that’s for sure but I always have to fight myself to do it every week even near the end. I never regret it and when I am done I always wondering why I don’t look forward to it.
hey brian its great to see you and your blog again, i also just restarted my p9ox program and hope by may 30 2008, to see great results. This time around though I ordered and started the new p90x + program, let me tell you is super hard but fan-blamtastic as Tony Horton would say. The new exercises are killer and the interval cardio and revised kempo program are a fat burning energy sapping monster!!! i just finished week 1 and im seeing faster results then on week 4 of the original program. The abd/core plus video will murder your abs and youll feell it almost immediatly.
I highly recommended its incorporeted easily into the original p90x routine. Now all i have to do is get my diet on target.
HEY I AM 15 YEARS OLD I AM ALREADY PRETTY FIT.I FINISHED WEEK THREE TODAY AND SINCE I STARTED MY PROGRAM I ALSO DO 30 MINUTES ON THE TREADMILL AND 15 ON THE CROSS TRAINER / EPILEPTIC AND THERE HAS BEEN A MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT. I CAN REALLY SEE MY ABS SHAPING AND I THINK AT ABOUT WEEK 7 I SHOULD COMPLETELY SEE MY 6PACK. THIS ONLY THING I HATE IS YOGAX. I NEED TO FORCE MYSELF TO DO IT.
What was the interesting thing? Oh! That. Yeah. I should have guessed. This post is good, but not good enough.
