So to continue the trend of not following the P90X perfectly in the last week, I had to cut my Yoga X workout short today because I almost (beware of unpleasant visual) threw-up through my nose. I had a spicy tomato sauce on my pasta for dinner and I think I had some acid reflux going on as I started the Yoga X. It was one of the most unpleasant sensations ever. I immediate ate some yogurt to soothe my throat and nasal area. I think I will try to add Yoga X on Sunday when I usually take my day off from the P90X.
Besides that little issue, my body feels great.
If you want to learn more about the P90X workout or want to start bringing it like me see the link below:

Wow, don’t know what to say after that one, kind of wish you hadn’t posted today though.
Brian, I have a question; DO you need a pull up bar and do you have to do push-ups? What if you have a lat pull down machine and a weight set? Do they allow for bench presses instead?
Pull-ups: You can use resistance bands, which is what I do for the most part. They are effective.
Push-ups: Because there are so many different push-up moves it makes sense that you should do them. Bench press would only cover a few. There are military, standard width, wide arms, one arms, dive bomber, and a whole slew of other ones that are hard to describe.
Hi Brian, congratulations and keep the hard work. I recently purchased the p90x and i’m starting off monday. Didn’t find any other space in your site to email you directly so had to do it here. I wanna go shopping tomorrow, and need to ask you if you use both dumbells and bands, or one of both is enough ? Did u buy the p90x chin up bar ? How bout those yoga blocks ?
Please give me a hand with those external products. Thank you for your time. I’ll be taking daily pics as well. Maruan David, down in Panama, Central America !
I really recommend getting some free weights. I have 10s, 15s, and 20s, and now I really need to get some 25s. I use resistance bands in place of the pull up bar because I have no space to use it. If you have a doorway with wall space I highly recommend getting it. My buddy has the pull up bar and it works great, and when I go home and have access to a pull up bar I feel like I get a much better workout.
Also, a yoga mat is essential whereas the yoga blocks are not absolutely necessary. As you begin to use the program you will get a feel for what you personally need. The key things to get in the beginning no matter what are: Weights, pull up bar or resistance bands, and a mat. The other things can be added later as you see fit.
