P90X Review Day 16: Jump, Jump, Jump, Jump

P90X Day 16 - photo
The official theme song of Plyo X should be House of Pain’s Jump Around. Both for the name of the band and the name of the song. Basically, take the 30 secs where you jump up and down in a dance club to the song (do they still play this at dance clubs?) and stretch that over an hour. Tony doesn’t kid that this is the mother of the P90X workouts. You get airborne on this one. I think I would actually perform better with the House of Pain beat playing in the background.

I did better today then yesterday (maybe because I actually remembered to eat). But also I remember feeling tired out in the first round of exercises last week, but this week I stayed strong until the very end. This is definitely an intense cardio workout. I got sweaty, and felt great. I hope to be even stronger on this one next week.

On another note: I am trying to get more people to see my blog so if you think that what I am doing here is of interest to others please put a link to my site on your website or blog! If you do I would be happy to trade a link back to your site. Just link to me, or if you want a link back write a comment with a link. Thank you! I want other people to see realtime results of the P90X.

I am VERY happy to see someone taking the initiative to share their story in it’s entirety. Last year I quit smoking and it’s been over a year now, much of my success I attribute to someone who did this same thing of showing their daily progress. The only difference between their story and mine is that I finally didn’t fall off the wagon (I did fail numerous times previously however) and they fell off but it was real and had the HUMAN aspect; I was able to relate to everything they posted. This made it seem like you were not the only one who experiences set backs and frustration, somehow this really drives you. I’ve been watching your daily pictures and you say you don’t see the results, I can assure you the rest of us DO see your progress. Man up and keep it coming! We are rooting for you and we are watching your success. I’ve been considering this program and am hopeful that I can convince myself I can do this, that this is NOT just a really good marketing tactic. The interest for me is the possibility that my body CAN be defined and sculpted… something I have NEVER been able to accomplish – I have only been successful in strength & bulk which just makes me look big … I WANT DEFINITION… It’s just too sexy not to at least consider the possibilites. Thanks for doing this and keep it coming!

I never really thought it was possible either. I had spurts of going to to gym but I never really knew what I was doing and I certainly never gave it the intensity that would gain noticeable results. But this P90X system really takes out the guesswork and gives you the easy structure to get results. But I have felt the transformation in my body already. I am more confident in social situations and in life in general. I can’t wait to continue my progress. I think it is as much body as it is mind. I actually believe now that I can have a super fit body, that I can look great with my shirt off. Before I never really believed it, but now I do. And I hope I never look back. Not only do I look better, but I feel better, and I am certainly more healthy. It will probably help me live longer.
I think it is great, and I am glad to be part of the many that are also doing it. It feels great to have many other people who have also done the P90X and achieved actually results. It is the reason why I started the P90X in the first place. Now, naturally all my friends are beginning to get interested in it.

I hope that this blog does inspire you. I have never done any serious workout plan in my life and yet I am doing this one, and getting great results with it. You certainly will to. In today’s hectic world it can difficult to devote the time necessary to learning the best way to become fit and ripped. The P90X really just spells everything out and makes it really really easy to ensure great results without having to spend a lot of time researching workout routines.

Tina, I hope you get started! and be sure to update us on your progress here!!!
