I did not bring it today. When I started with Chest and Back I was feeling good. As I looked back on my previous two weeks I thought that I would be able to crush a lot of my rep numbers. But about 3 exercises into the workout I wasn’t even coming close to my numbers from the very first day of using the P90X. As I kept going I just felt like my tank was on empty. I realized that I had woken up late and had only had one meal – a bowl of cereal. At first, I was very frustrated that I wasn’t obliterating my previous progress. I would like to the think that I have gotten much stronger in the last 14 days, not weaker.
Has anyone else experienced a significant decrease in results from not having eaten enough. Do you think that it was because I didn’t have a enough fuel? Or could it be that my muscles are just fatigued from the P90X so far? Anyone else who has experienced could you give me some feedback?
At least, for now on I will make sure to be aware of my food intake and not exercise without having the proper fuel.
If you want to learn more about the P90X workout or want to start bringing it like me see the link below:

Only a bowl of cereal? Thats an instant no energy food, no wonder you tank was on E! Are you following the diet plan? To win you need exersize, nutrition and rest. Any missing legs and you fat loss efforts will crumble. If you expect to get the results they scream about you have to truly follow the plan. Dont stop posting!
I just got my X today and will be starting tomorrow. Care for some friendly competition?
Bring it!
Anthony
I would love some friendly competition. Please post about your progress and compare notes.
I do know how important nutrition is but sometimes you just get caught up in what your doing and forget to take care of that aspect. It was just a good wake up call. I never want to feel like that again during a workout so I will take utmost care to eat properly, all part of the learning process I suppose.
Brian,
Excellent blog – I have been reviewing P90x and can’t decide if I want to commit. Reading your 15 days has helped. I appreciate the fact that you are willing to tell the truth with reference to days that you skipped the work out. Good luck getting back on track. Perhaps once I get started I will be able to compare notes.
