HELLO EVERYONE!!

I know you have all been wondering what I am going to do next and when.  It’s going to be doing…………..INSANITY!!!  The masters of this wonderful blog are doing a little updating so it might be a little while before I can start. I can’t wait either because I am getting LAZY!

Looking back, I wanted to post my best pictures.  This was in March.  I do not currently look like this!!!  Proof that you have to keep up your diet and do at least 20 minutes of exercise per day…I would say:

God I can’t wait to do Insanity!!!

180 day pics

Not a huge difference visually, but I did lose 7 pounds this round.  I was modifying and trying not to get buff this time!!  Don’t get me wrong, you can lose a lot more than me if you push hard and give 100% to your diet and workouts.  For the guys, you can get ripped if you do your weights right and take that protein!!!  I was a little lazy this round, but I think I was getting a little tired of the same workout.  I am still happy with my results!  133 pounds is great for me!  My high school weight was 122 so to be only 11 pounds heavier than that after almost 10 years and two kids…….AWESOME!

DAY 180!!!!!!!!!! It’s all over :(

Hieee!!  It’s day 180 and this is the end!!!  Yoga was the last P90X workout!!!!  I am done!!!  I am a little scared because I don’t want to gain any of that weight back!!!!!

Beginning weight (way beginning….start of round 1):  155

Ending weight:  133

So I only lost 22 pounds with two rounds of P90X, but keep in mind that I am a naturally lazy person.  LOL!  I did the workouts everyday, tried to follow the diet for the most part, but honestly, looking back, I could have done better!  So don’t think you can’t lose more than 20 pounds with this program because you can!!!!  Also, I gained  a LOT of muscle, so that could be the reason I only lost 22 pounds.  My athletic abilities have improved GREATLY!  I go sooo far with my tumbling this year.  Standing back TUCK at the age of 26 (just turned 27)!  My softball skills have gone up too!  I can actually hit the ball to the outfield now!!!  Maybe not a home run hitter, but at least I can get a double!!!  But I look WAY better and I feel WAY better.  I have the confidence to actually wear a bikini on the beach!!  See:

How’s that for a progress picture!!  I do apologize, but I totally forgot to take my 180 day pictures last night!!!!  I will take them tonight and post them with all my “new body” measurements tomorrow ;)

I GIVE THE P90X AND A+!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  THIS PROGRAM WORKS IF YOU WORK!!!!!!!!!!  LOSE 20 OR 30 POUNDS AND GET SOME NEW MUSCLES AND PERFORM BETTER AND FEEL BETTER AND EAT BETTER AND LOOK BETTER………AND MORE!!!!!!!!

Core Synergistics, UGH

This one is tough too, but it’s getting easier for me.  Although, for some reason my back is sore today.  I did have softball practice last night too, so that could have something to do with it!!!  I have one more day of P90X left, I can’t believe it!  Blog or not, I think I am going to try Insanity!  I need the cardio!!  Plus, I am so scared that once I stop doing P90X I will gain weight back :(  I haven’t weighed myself in a couple days so let’s hope I get close to my gaol on sunday!!

Stretch

day 178 was just a day for stretching.  X Stretch can be long and boring, but it really helps!  With softball and cheerleading, I could use the extra stretching!

Kenpo X on day 177

Hey everyone!  My workout for the day was Kenpo X and it went pretty well.  I used the weighted gloves through out the whole program which I think helps to burn more calories.  I wish I had some ankle weights for the kicks.  Ankle weights would be go for Ab Ripper X too because there is a lot of leg movements to engage the abs.  There’s a little tip if you want to increase the intensity of Ab Ripper.

So I am still not budging with my weight :(  I have three days left so I’m not going to get discouraged, and I guess I shouldn’t weigh myself until day 180!

Core city!

Not my saying by the way!  But it’s definitely true.  Core Synergistics is no joke.  Not just for your abs, but your back, thighs, and bootie!  Even at this point, day 176, this workout still makes my core a little sore!  Probably because you don’t do this one that often.  That’s the point of P90X!  Changing it up just when you get used to it!  I can actually hang during bow to boat, surprisingly!  Well not surprisingly because at this point, I should have all moves mastered!  which I do for the most part ;)

So I have been eating much better so far this week.  Sort of going back to the kinds of things I was eating round 1.  Eggs, tomato soup, string cheese, etc.  So let’s hope this can stick after this week.  Going back to my old eating habits would be BAD!

P.S.  I think a wedding is in the near future so I have to stay in shape!!!  A year is plenty of time to fall off the wagon, so I have to stay on my game!!!  Maybe venture into some Insanity!!!

WEEK 13!!! The FINAL week!!!!!

Can I do it?!?!?  Can I reach my goal?!?!?!?  I don’t know!!!  The last couple of weeks have been a bust for me :(  The goal is 13o, but if I can stay under 135, I will be happy!  Not much of a loss weight wise this round, but my arms are a little more defined, I think anyway!  Plus I think I need something different at this point.  180 days is a LOOOONG time! Oh yes, I completely forgot to take my body fat percentage this whole time, so I will be sure to do that at the end! LOL!

So today’s workout was Yoga X.  Just because I have been doing this for so long, this workout seems to drag at times.  I still work up a good sweat and I do feel the burn by the end, but man it’s long!!!  Effective, but long.  I wonder if I have the ability to actually take a Yoga Class.  Hummm….I think maybe I could :)  Thanks P90X!  For broadening my horizons!
